Chapter 6- A Day on the East Sise

Emma's POV

Saturday Morning
Buzz, buzz.

"What the f**k! It's Saturday morning — who could possibly be annoying me?" I said to myself, getting up and stumbling over to my computer desk for my phone.

"Great! It's Ethan," I said sarcastically.

Ethan: :) Good morning, sunshine.
Emma: What the f**k, it's Saturday, dude. What's the prob?
Ethan: :D Wanna hang with us today? I'll pick you up at 8.
Emma: Where are we going?
Ethan: East Side.
Emma: :! Ok, cool.
Ethan: Bye :)

I tossed my phone onto the dresser and crawled back into bed.

When I woke up again, it was 7:00.
I got up, went to the bathroom, took a hot bath, washed my hair, and brushed my teeth.
Coming out wrapped in a towel, I dried my hair under the dryer, then picked out my outfit: a black spaghetti strap blouse, my black jeans jacket, and black skinny jeans.

I did my makeup lightly and added a dark lipstick, grabbed my phone, and headed downstairs.

"Hey, Mom," I said, stepping into the kitchen.

"Hey, hun. Where you off to?" Mom asked.

"East Side," I answered, opening the fridge.

"Okay, sweetheart. Amber and I are going to Grandma's for the weekend. Be careful," she said, kissing my jaw and heading out the door.

"Bye, sis!" Amber called after her.

"Bye, babe," I answered with a smile.

Nice — home alone for the weekend. Sweet!

I grabbed a bottle of cold milk and made myself a big bowl of cereal.
After finishing, I flopped onto the couch and turned on the TV.

Awesome!
It was my favorite show — The Vampire Diaries.

Nock, nock.

That must be Ethan.

I went to the door and opened it.

"Hey," Ethan said, smiling.

"Hey," I replied.

"Ready?" he asked.

"Yeah, I'll be out in a sec," I said, stepping back inside.

I grabbed the house keys off the kitchen island, turned off the TV, and headed out the door.

The ride to East Side was about fifteen minutes.

When we arrived, I got out of the car, standing still for a moment and looking around the place.
