I was sitting under the shade of an umbrella, wearing shorts and a tank top, sipping raw mango and chilli mock tail. It tasted great, spicy and sour.

The starts were shining bright but the moon was brighter, perfect amount of breeze, the view was perfect, lighthouse was glowing and ships were passing from a distance.

India is so amazing. There's preference for vegetarians and the food is mind blowing. It's been a month since I'm on a holiday now.

In a month I travelled all around India. Literally.

In the state called Gujrat there were only vegetarian restaurants, they have a sweet tooth, even in their curry called dal which is yellow lentils soaked in water and cooked with spices they add jaggery. The most famous snacks they have are khakra which is a crispy spiced wafer, dhokla which is really spongy and eaten along with pudhina chutney (mint leaves crushed with spices as a dip).

In the capital Delhi, me and my mom shopped a lot as the brands were same as Japan. It was fun because the capital has all the cuisines eaten throughout the country.

The ones I remember clearly are paani, bhel and masala puri. Which are very spicy dishes and very delicious.

Rajma(red bean curry) and dal makhni(black lentils and gram with a lot of butter) are royalty curries because they have a thick and rich consistency and they're eaten with white long rice.

Paneer butter masala (cottage cheese cooked in thick tomato gravy and spices) and bhindi masala (ladies finger cooked with various different spices) were good to eat with indian bread (roti, phulka, naan, chapati).

Coming to south India we explored all four states. Best City was bangalore the state capital of karnataka. The food Puliogare (spicy tamarind rice with peanuts), butter masala dosa (potato stuffed and buttered with a outer filling), fried chilli covered in dough, mysore pak (condensed milk sweet melts in mouth), brinjal curry and gulladki undi(cruncy sweet dough with a layer of jaggery like coating)

Chennai was okay because it was too hot but the paysam (vermicelli with sweet milk and dry fruits) and sambhar (aquaeous vegetable and lentils) pondicherry's french colonies were a treat to watch. Kerala was great too with cashew nut curries and red rice.

I met a guy called Hayama who was from Japan and he was interested in the spices of India, accompanying him was a sweet guy called Isshiki.

I learnt how to sword fight in Kerala known as gods own country. The coffee and tea made here was very different but in a nice way.

In Andhra Pradesh I had very spicy rice and the juice of tomato with spices called rasam.

The sweet shop in the capital of Andhra Pradesh was too good they had a cashew sweet called kaju barfi, a rolled cashew coating with smashed pistachio rolls, a white fresh sweet water and spongy sweet called rasgulla and a brown fried dough ball immersed in sugar syrup called jamoon.

I even had a jalebi which was a circular sweet which was crunchy and sweet and juicy at the same time and motichur laddo.

The temples in India are beautiful and so was the architecture.

So here I was in Goa's baga beach, tanning after parasailing and motor boat riding. I even doubled my money in the casino. I was staying at a top class beach side resort, Marriott.

"Misora?" Mom called out.

"Yeah mom?" I answered turning towards her.

"It's late" she said, trying to get me to sleep early.

"Yeah, we're on a holiday, come sit" I pat the chair next to mine.

"Your dad called" she said, sitting down.

"Oh cool how's pappa?" I asked.

"He's good, we should go back" she said. I sighed, and nodded.

"Okay, I'll pre pone our tickets for tomorrow?" I asked.

"Yeah it's been more than a month and a half, besides you've been with your laptop at least 8 hours a day" she said and I nodded.

I got my laptop outside and pre poned out tickets. I called martin up and spoke to him.

"So you're finally coming back?" he asked.

"Yeah, one day in Bangalore, we're leaving at night" I answered.

"He called the office" He said and I took a second to realise.

"I don't want to talk about it Martin" I said.

"Okay.. go have a good sleep" He said and I hung up.

We changes flights from Goa to Bangalore and shopped a lot after roaming around the entire city. Finally we boarded our flight to Japan.
