~Chapter 8~

Mari POV.

I woke up approximately two hours after Wes and I made it. I fell asleep because I didn't sleep a lot this night and I was really tired after that.

I left the bed than put back all my clothes on. When I enter the kitchen, Wes was making breakfast. There were eggs, bacon strips, toast, potatoes and some fruits.

"Morning babe." Wes said with a smile.

Wait did Wes just call me babe? Well I like this nickname.

"Morning handsome." I said.

"Are you hungry." he asked.

"Starving." I replied.

He served me a plate. It was really good, I didn't know that Wes was a good cook. After the breakfast we went back in my bedroom because I realized that I didn't open my gift.

"OH MY GOD!! Thank you so much Wes! You're the best boyfriend ever!" I said barely screaming.

"You're welcome." he answered with the usual Wes smile and gave me a big bear hug.

~1 month later~

Mari POV.

I woke up really late for work. It was 12:46 pm and I was supposed to be at work at 11:00 am. I grabbed the first shirt and pants that I saw. It was my batman shirt and black leggings. I went in the bathroom and barely put makeup, I only put mascara and brush my hair. I grabbed an apple to eat it later while I will drive. I took my keys and left my house.

I was running in the parking to get my car. What would the other think? They are mad at me when I'm ten min late, now I'm 1h and 46 minutes late! They are going to kill me.

I opened the door of my car and jump in. I was focusing on the road when my attention went on the 'beep' that my phone mad. I look and it was a text from Wes, I needed to answer.

"Mari, where are you I'm worried."

I took my eyes off the road and texted back.

"I'm on the road, sorry I woke up late today."

When I put my eyes back on the road, there was a car coming in front of me. I didn't have time to stop. The truck hit my car really hard, my windows broke because of the shock and everything went black. Everything that I remembered was; voices that were asking me if I was okay. I didn't have the force to move. I heard sirens and something pulling me up. After that I don't remember anything.

I woke up in a white room, I was wearing a blue jacket and I was on a white bed. I had stiches on my arms and I had some dry blood on my hands and arms. What happened? I can't remember anything. Well almost.

On my left there was a big window with blue curtain. In front of my bed, there was a little table and two chairs. My head and my stomach were hurting really bad. About ten minutes later, a nurse came in my room.

"Oh, Miss Takahashi, you're a wake." The nurse said.

"The doctor is coming, he has news for you" The nurse said. She left the room and the doctor came in.

"What happened?" I asked.

"You got a car accident...I have bad news for you." The doctor said.

"He's dead." He said. But what was he talking about? I don't understand, nobody was in the car with me so who can be dead?

"Who's dead?" I asked.

"Your baby." The doctor answered.
