MNR - 1/9/12

Monday Night Raw - (1/9/12) 9:02 p.m.

The beginning of the show had to do with The Miz, who had started a feud with a new Superstar named Ty.

Randy Orton was backstage in his locker room, sitting and watching what was happening on the television.

"Miz, you are pathetic..." he crossed his arms. "I wouldn't mind punting you in the skull.. just for being so pathetic..."

There was a knock on the door..

"What?" Randy said harshly.

"It's Maryse."

He sighed. "Come in.."

She opened the door, came in, and closed it behind her...

"What do you want?"

"Well I didn't want to bother you or anything--"

"Too late.."

Maryse rolled her eyes. "So anyway, I overheard John Morrison and Cena talking about the Big Show..."

"...And...?"

"And they said that his tag team partner, Kane, wants to have a match with you tonight, for beating up Big Show last week."

…

Randy narrowed his eyes..

"I wasn't sure if it was true, but I just thought you should know.."

He nodded at her slowly as he became deep in thought...

Maryse smiled, took that as a "thank you" and left.

…

Kane...

Unlike some Superstars Randy's been in the ring with, Kane was a real challenge... His demeanor was a lot fiercer than Randy's... and he managed to intimidate the unintimidated, such as the Undertaker. 

That made Randy slightly envious of him.. 

So tonight, if what Maryse told him was true...

he'd have a chance to show Kane, who the real "monster" is... 

Maryse - in the hallway

She hoped that Randy appreciated her for what she told him. Then maybe he'd consider taking her seriously and making things official.

Maryse didn't really like the way Randy acted toward her sometimes... and she thought that even though he was a serious person, he would make an exception for her. After all, Randy was only human... she saw the way he looked at her sometimes... There had to be something about her that made him decide to keep her around. 

She always imagined her and Randy walking down to the ring together, hand-in-hand. But seeing as how he told her he hated that kind of "clingyness" before a match, that might never happen...

Maryse sat down at one of the makeup tables and fixed her hair.. 

She suddenly had a flashback of what happened in Randy's Iocker room a few weeks ago...

It was the first time she had ever attempted to talk to him directly about how she felt about him..

And as she was talking to him, he just kept staring at her in some kind of (serious) gaze... But that was expected, sort of, because all Maryse was wearing was a tight, little black dress that was quite revealing...

She was in the middle of a sentence, when Randy kissed her.

The feel of his lips on hers was warm and rough... and enticing.
