I don't know how it begins
But in the summer I think
Swinging in the garden
Dancing on the floor
You don't know how much I want more
Sitting on the park bench
Living in our dreamland
It's been long days,
Since you were gone
My loving little summer crush
I don't know if you love me anymore.
Talking like kids
Walking like royals
Do you remember
Picking up wild flowers
That we used to give
As a promise to keep
Never forgetting each other
Wherever we would be
As a sweet memory
Wandering on the streets
Tripping on our feet
Those were the summer days
I want to keep.
Riding on our cycles
Playing hide and seek
Listening to grown-ups
What they want us to be
It's been long days
Since our walk
My sweet little summer crush
I don't know if you can still recall that talk.
