Arriving in Sydney

"Alex come on Liz and Luke are waiting to see you" My mom told me while we were getting off the plane. The jet lag is hitting me hard. "Ugh, I'm coming I'm just really tired" I say. Finally we see Luke and Liz. "Luke!!!!!" I yell running into his arms. "Hey Alex. How's the jet lag?" Luke asks. "Terrible." I respond. Luke is the only one I actually open up to. He says it's cause he's older than me. The only truth to that is that he's older than me, he's only one month older. We all pile into Liz's car. We talk about our new house. Luke's house is on the right if our house and on the left is his friend Calum's house. "It's so hot" I complain. "It is the last of summer break" Luke laughs. "Yeah well usually right now Toronto is in the middle of a snow storm" I say. Luke and I talk about random things until Liz puts on some Green Day for Luke and I. "DON'T WANNA BE AN AMERICAN IDIOT" we scream. Man I love this song. After about 30 minutes we get to my new house. "Hey my band is having a rehearsal after school tomorrow, wanna come?" Luke asks. "I'll think about it. Well see you later Loser" I laugh. "Okay see you later idiot" Luke yells.
