Everything at Once

I look around at the busy hallway. All the people that have so much going on. The crying thin girl being comforted by her friends. They think her boyfriend broke up with her. The real story, she is abused by her always drunk step mom. My name is Violet Lush, I am the human dream catcher. I can see dreams from the past. If you had a dream last night, sweet or nightmare, I can see it. I only receive them is necessary . If something important is going on and you dreamed about it, I will receive it.

I keep walking. I don't talk much because there is no need. I am always learning new things. This ability isn't always easy to cope with. When there is a divorce or death and people dream about it, I cry. Sometimes I wish I didn't have this ability, but it could save someone one day. I will find out I guess.

I have 1 friend. His name is Asher Vanquent. HE is probably the only one that knows my name. Even teachers forget my name. Ash is funny but serious when it comes to the dreams. He is the only other person in the world that knows about my.. well.. i wouldn't call it a power but an ability. He isn't the smartest but he understands. He has beautiful deep blue eyes. Compared to my simple brown ones they are amazing. He has spiked up blonde hair. I have wavy brown hair to match my eyes. I have one purple streak though.

"Anything new?" Asher asks when we meet up in the hallway. "Harper is dealing with more abuse, Jose has a crush on Vlair. He thinks she is the one according to his dream. They were getting married." I say giggling. "Wow maybe we can play matchmaker."Ash adds laughing with me. "I don't think we have a chance. Vlair LOVES her boyfriend. It would take a lot to split that up." I add. "True " Ash says. We laugh then walk to math class. The only class we have together.

"Okay class take a seat." Mr. Smith demands.

"Look, Jose is sitting next to Vlair."Ash says. I look over at Vlair and instantly receive a dream.

It's Vlair yelling at Forest(her boyfriend). She is yelling at him because he is always messing with her. Making her feel like nothing.

" You damned guy! I never get any respect from you! You are always joking around and YOU think its funny! Newsflash you are the only one that thinks its funny. We are O-V-E-R!" Vlair screams.

"I will stop just please don't leave me. I need you!" Forest begs.

"No we are done."Vlair walks off into smoke.

The dream ends.

"Ash maybe we won't have a hard time breaking her and Forest up." I say excitedly.
