The Date

 I walk up to him and he hands me the flowers.

"Thanks your sweet." I say blushing.

"I know. Can I tell you the truth?" He asks.

Chills go down my back and through my hands. He grabs my hands and we walk.

"Whats up?"

"Well I have always liked you. I have always thought you were pretty and you have a really cool tattoo. I always saw you with Asher and thought you were dating. Then I asked Asher about it and he said ya'll were just good friends.  When I found out about his new girlfriend I got really excited. I saw you had made a new friend and you started talking to me. I got really excited that you made new friends. I finally talked to Asher and he said you and him didn't talk much anymore. I finally made my move. You are the prettiest girl I have ever seen. I was wondering if you would like to be my...my.."

Zaine passed out. I freaked out. I drove him to my house and splashed water on his face. He finally woke up. 

"What happened?" He asked

"Oh my God your okay!"I yell and wrap my  hands around his neck hugging him. 

"Yeah but what happened?"

"You passed out. You asked me if I would be your..."

"Your what?"

"I don't know. You passed out before you finished."

"Oh. Well I was wondering if you would be my girlfriend. I have never met a girl like you. You are beautiful and cool. You seem to have something. Something that makes me comfortable around you. I don't know what it is. Will you though?"

"Yes. I would love to be your girlfriend." I say with a smile.

My face was red. My heart was pounding. I felt like the best thing in the world. I finally felt wanted.

"That's amazing. What do you want to do?"

"I don't know you tell me."

"Lets go somewhere...Private."

My heart fluttered.

"Like where?"

"I don't know. Somewhere we can talk without others hearing."

"Okay."

We walk to an ally.  He leans against the wall.

"I know about your power to see dreams."He says confidently.

"How? What? How much do you know?" 

"I have an ability too. I can see emotion. I look around and know exactly how someone feels and why. If someone is angry I can tell. I knew when you were jealous of Shea. I can't read minds and know exactly what your thinking. I just know what causes your emotion. I knew about your dream.. ability.. because you were confused and upset about dreams. I am with you. You might think I only like you  because you liked me. I liked you because you are beautiful and understand what its like to have a power." Zaine explains.

I stand there speechless. Not knowing how to react.

"That's amazing. First I don't have to tell you but then you understand too!" I say.

He leans in and kisses me. I kiss back. Butterflies are dancing around my heart. His hands go to my waist and arms go around his neck. His hands move to my hips. There we are. Kissing in an ally. I never knew that would happen. I never expected that.

We start explaining our tattoos. He calls himself the Human Mood Ring. He has a mood ring tattoo. I showed him my dream catcher tattoo. It was amazing to finally have someone understand. He is perfect. 

We left and walked back to my place. He kissed me good night. 

"I will see you tomorrow baby." He said

"Bye"

I was so excited inside. No one had ever called me baby.
