We arrive at five. I see Maggie and Candy and Jay. I hope Garrett isn't coming. I am scared he will hurt me. I don't think Zaine would let that happen of course. Most of the dreams I see come true in some way. I hope this isn't one of them.
"Hey guys come on in."Jay says.
"I am gonna go get our smoothies. What kind you want?" Zaine asks.
"Um Mango." I answer. I always get something new. I don't like same old same old.
"Cool. Be right back."
"Kay."
"So you and Zaine huh. How did that happen?" Candy asks me.
"I don't know. After Asher got a girlfriend me and him stopped talking and I made new friends. Zaine and you guys were some of them. I guess I can say I got feelings for him and he gained feelings for me. That is what went down." I say.
"That's cute." Garrett says walking up behind me. He sticks his finger in his mouth and makes a gagging motion.
My heart skips a beat. Fear runs down my spine.
"You scared me."
"Okay so"
"Ugh Garrett your just jealous that she has Zaine and you don't." Candy says.
"Shut up Candy. No body asked you."
"He would have never liked you in the first place. He is not bi! You know that."
"SHUT UP CANDY. I am leaving." Garrett walks out the door and leaves his jacket.
I pick up his jacket and check the pockets. I find a piece of paper.
'You have been warned. Back off my man Violet. -Garrett'
Zaine comes back.
"Babe can we go. I need to talk to you." I ask.
"Um sure ,sorry guys. See you guys later." Zaine tells them.
"Bye guys." They all say together.
"Zaine I don't think I need to be hanging around Garrett."I say on the car ride to his place.
"Baby I told you he is harmless."
"I don't think so." I showed him the note. While he was looking at the note he swerved and hit another car.
