It Happens so Fast

She has him pushed up against the lockers. They are making out so passionately they look like they are gonna swallow each other. I am guessing he asked her out, and she said yes. I can't stop him anymore. If I tell him now it will prove I am jealous.

I walk away holding back tears. I feel like I lost Ash. I won't be able to hang out with him and her because it would make it awkward. I am holding back tears. I have never felt heartbreak before. I wasn't even dating him. I guess I loved him. I don't know anymore.

I am walking down the hall receiving dreams left and right. I ignore most of them about unicorns and girls and guys until one stands out. Jessica Owen. A girl that is ignored most of the time. She tries to make friends but only makes bullies. Her dream is scary.

*dream starts*

" You are uglier than a pit bull." One guy screams.

"Your voice is as high as a dog whistle." Another says laughing.

Jessica is backing away from the people tears running down her face. She turns around and it revels a cliff. She looks down and around. She looks back and people keep screaming horrible things. She looks out over the cliff. She dives down. The dream ends.

I walk up to her at her locker. She is doing her makeup.

"Hi" I say hoping to make a new friend.

"Oh you scared me. People don't normally talk to me."She says. I giggle.

"I am Violet. I am just looking to make a friend."

"Oh well I am Jessica. Are you new?"

"No, I have been going here for 2 years. I don't talk to anyone normally. I just lost the only friend I had to his new girlfriend."

"Oh well I don't have any friends."

"Well now you do. What is your second period?"

"I have English second. Mr.Yashie."

"No way! Me to!"

"I have never seen you in there. There is an open seat next to me of course. You can have it if you want it."

"I would love to."

We walk down the hall together and I see Asher holding hands with Shea. I wish I could have warned him. He has a fragile heart. I look him in the eye and shake my head. I know he saw me because he rolled his eyes. We meet up in second period but don't speak. I sit next to Jessica as promised. He seems to get a little jealous. I am not the only one anymore. I want to tell him so bad. I guess he will find out sooner or later.

After math I ask Ash several questions.

"When did you ask her? How did she react? Did you have fun MAKING OUT WITH HER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HALL WAY!?" I yell "I asked her before I got her number. She was happy and she is a great kisser."He says proudly.

I hold tears back again. I just walk off without saying another word.
