The car ride home with you
Those evening strolls with friends
And that time we walked side by side
Under the moonlight shining bright
Whenever fate decides for us to meet
We'll walk side by side, both a bit shy
I remembered the sound of your voice
"I waited for you, actually." You said
So mellifluous, yet a bit mischievous
I don't know if you meant it
Nevertheless, it made my heart flutter
You take the lead and let me aside
So just I could be safe from the road
Or whatever reason it may be
I appreciate your "chivalry"
Our small talks, about school and life
But most importantly I'm with you
That's all that matters, for me at least
After a wave and staring into each other's eyes
That's when we'll finally bid our goodbyes
Even if it's just a short while, not even reaching a mile
Just seeing your smile, I know it's going to be worthwhile
