Chapter 2

We were ushered onto a boat. I thought it was on the main island off Hawaii. Where are we going now? I sighed and sat back, looking over at Natalia. I had tried to talk to her as we were getting off the plane but she still ignored me! I said "hey" and then "where are you from?" but she didn't answer. I really want to know what her problem is right now.

I sighed again and started talking to Rick, a boy who joined us from his own private jet on the boat. He's from Texas and his parents sent him here to have one less child to car for, since he has 4 other siblings. I told him how I'm an only child and my parents want only the best for me so they sent me here. Rick does not believe that. 

30 minutes later and extremely bored we saw land. It was an island that looked to be completely covered in trees, besides a small beach by the docks and a tower that loomed above the trees. We were ushered off the boat and into the trees. We followed an invisible path until we came upon, you guessed it, a parking lot! The driver led us tp a jeep and we all hopped in, Rick in the middle. 

Suddenly we took off at such a speed that I screamed and held onto Ruck's arm, hearing him laugh. I scowled. How could he be laughing I'm scared! I buried my face in his arm and let out a small screech at each bump. This man was crazy driving like this! Suddenly he hit the brakes and I would have flown forward if not for Rick's arm. I looked up breathing hard and watched these insanely tall gates open. We drove up a winding driveway until we finally saw it.

A building- no a castle, loomed above us. Grand and intimidating. I stared at it with my mouth wide open. I looked over at Rick and Natalia and sure enough they were doing the same. When Natalia caught me looking at her she glared before looking at the castle again. What did I do? I sighed and looked back up too.

It has a least 5 floors with dorms and everything you could imagine in it! I have a feeling it does, too.The man pulled up into another parking lot and more kids got out of their jeeps, they all look shaken too. 

We were lead inside and inside and instructed to take a seat in the lounge. We did as we were told and patiently sat there until a tall and gracefull lady walked in. She wore a dark old fashioned dress with her greying hair up in an extravegent bun. She walked gracefully into the center of the room. Her name is Madame Laurence and she is the headmaster of the school.

What have I gotten myself into?
