EPILOGUE- 4 DAYS LATER

"I cannot believe you!" Natalia yelled for the thousandth time.

"What on earth has been going on, Ashton?! What happened that you can suddenly keep something from us?"

I sighed for the millionth time.

Should I tell them about the wings,and Lucas?

Rhea continued glaring at me from across the room. I would be dead if we weren't friends, or the world didn't need all of us to rule.

"Will you tell anything to us?" Natalia said, looking at me with pleading eyes.

"Okay fine, what is the one thing you want to know the most?"

"Why are you keeping things from us?" Bad choice, she won't get anything from that.

"Madame Laurence instructed me to keep some things inside until the time is right."

"So important things, like getting married, should be kept inside?"

"Go talk to Ryan, I'm sure he would love to talk to you right now." I know I was being mean, but I really didn't want to talk about this right now, or ever really.

"Fine then." Natalia stalked out of the lounge room and up the stairs to the second floor where her room his.

Now I was left with Rhea.

"Your turn." I said, looking at Rhea who was not sitting in the chair across from mine.

She shrugged. "Do you love Lucas?"

"He's my soul mate."

"What about Jake?"

I stiffened at the mention of his name. I found out he was in prison for being rejected and unwanted by his soul mate, and working with Jacob, the demon.

"He's nothing." Rhea nodded.

"Why did you hide Lucas?" I could always talk to Rhea, because she could hide her emotions and actually listen.

"Madame Laurence once said he was bad, and that he could hurt me."

"I understand." What?

"What?"

"I understand why you kept him from us, but I also understand why Natalia was so upset. You need to talk to her."

I nodded and left the room.

I walked silently through the grand wall and out the wide double doors at the end. When we moved, we moved into a grand castle basically. It was also specially made for us and our heirs. Rhea got the fourth and top floor, with a star gazing room and other specialized things for her. Natalia lived on the second floor that was equipped with a library and dance studio. Then there was the main hall, where the Kitchen,lounge, and meeting rooms were. The basement had the laundry room and servants quarters. My rooms were outside, in a type of greenhouse structure. I had a large sunroom that branched off to a peaceful bedroom,fairly big bathroom,and a music room. Lucas was already there, waiting for me.

"Are you okay?" he asked me, getting out of the lounge chair.

"I can't say." I said, and folding him in his warm embrace. H

e kissed my head and sat back down again. 

"What happened?" "Natalia's really upset..and I don't know what to tell her to make it better. Lucas sighed and pulled me closer.

"Can I help with that?" he asked. I smiled and he kissed me happily, getting rid of my worries.

"I love you" Lucas whispered.

"I love you too." I said happily.

"Can I talk to you?" I said, pushing open Natalia's bedroom door. She sighed and closed the book, making room for me to sit next to her on the bed.

"Shoot."

"Okay, ummmm, I married Lucas secretly and you're upset. Soooo, I'm really sorry I didn't tell you. I was told he was dangerous and didn't know what you guys would think so I kept him secret. For a year."

"Okay."

"That's it?" The door opened and Ryan walked in, barely sparing a glance.

" You ready to go?" he asked Natalia.

"Ya , let's go."

They walked out, but not before Natalia gave me an appointed look to go. I did. What was wrong with her?

Over the next few days I saw less and less of Natalia. Rhea was so distant, but still expressed worry with me.

I feel like the world was falling apart, and not even Lucas could fix it.
