She switched off the engine.

This is it, sabi niya sa sarili. Kaya mo ito, Sars. Kakayanin mo. At finally, tatapusin mo na ito. For your own good, for your peace own peace of mind.

She looked at herself in front of the mirror.

Ano bang mali sa akin? Have I done somethig wrong para gawan niya ako nang ganito? I thought we were happy. I thought I was enough for both of us. Hindi pa pala. Bakit? Ano bang kulang sa akin?

Questions. And thousand more kept running on her mind.

But she won't get any answer unless and until she meet the cause why those questions appeared to her mind since months ago.

She heaved a deep sigh and removed the key. She took her bag beside her, took one last look at the mirror to check if she's calm enough to face the person. Yes, she looks calm enough outside, but her heart kept pounding hard inside her chest.

Just on time, she said to herself as she looked at her watch. She slowly went out of the car, locked the doors and then slowly walked towards the entrance of the restaurant.

She counted her steps as she neared the place.

Never she thought this day would come. Not even the idea that one day would come that she has to face someone because of someone.

"Good morning ma'am, welcome to Chili's. Table for how many?" bati sa kanya ng nakangiting crew.

"Good morning. I have a reservation?"

She mentioned her name.

"Ahm, yes ma'am and someone's already waiting for you at that table."

"Okay."

"This way, please."

Sumunod siya sa babae papunta sa pina-reserve niyang table.

Nang makarating sila doon, napatda siya sa nakita.

"This is your table, ma'am."

"Thank you," nakangiti niyang sagot sa crew pero dagling nawala iyon pagharap niya sa imi-meet niya.

"Here's your menu. I'll leave you for a while to make choices. Anything to drink while waiting, ma'am?"

"Just water please, room temperature, thank you," she replied while her stare is focused in front of her.

"Okay, ma'am."

Bumaling ito sa kaharap niya. "Ma'am?"

"I'm fine thanks," sagot agad nito.

"Sige po. Excuse me."

At iniwan na sila nang crew.

Finally.

"Sarah Anderson," she offered her hand as soon as the crew left them alone.

"Maja Salvador," the woman greeted back, accepting her handshake.

She looked at the woman in front of her. Or to be specific, the young woman in front of her.

She looks so young, in her mid-twenties maybe. Long with brown colored and well maintained hair, face that were fully made up, but not too loud.

Mukha namang disente, sa loob-loob niya. At mukha namang may kaya, base sa postura nito. At lalong mukha naman itong may pinag-aralan. Pero bakit?

"Are you done scrutinizing me?" biglang salita nito sa kanya.

Mataray, but I'm sure it's just a front. Hindi umabot sa mga mata niya ang katarayan niya.
