It was okay. Akaashi knew Bokuto would come back soon. He just had to wait. Until then, the rest of Fukorodani would hold their own.
As Bokuto began to perk up, Akaashi set the ball toward him. He jumped, then slammed the ball straight in between the blockers. "Good job, Bokuto-san" Akaashi said.
"Alright!" Bokuto cheered.
They won the game, 21-25.
As they were walking too the bus, Akaashi found his hand drifting towards Bokuto's. Embarrassed, he pulled it away, but Bokuto caught it. He smiled briefly, before letting go and running ahead, shouting loudly about the game. Akaashi tucked his hands into his pockets, blushing slightly.
Yes, this was fine.
Behind him, Konoha and Komi were watching, a knowing smirk on their faces.
