Chapter 2:

I awoke to yelling a few rooms down. Curiously I tip toed out my room, looking around cautiously as I walked down the cold dark halls to Anakins room. Not even bothering to knock, I slightly opened his door to see him thrashing around his bed, mumbling non hearable words as he cried out in pain.

I walked over to his bed, sitting slightly on the side as i stroked the side of his head softly. "Ani, Ani wake up" I cooed continuing my actions until he finally shot up in bed, causing my to jump slightly.

"Are you okay" I asked him softly. "I'm fine" he said in a mono tone voice before standing up. "What are you doing up? are you okay?" "Ani I'm fine, I was worried about you so I came in to check on you" I said quietly. "Well you need to go back to bed" he said while looping my arm with his an escorting me to my room. "Anakin, I'm a big girl and can take care of myself" I replied while giggling. "Oh yeah ofcourse you are" he said rolling his eyes. "Hey!" I said while slapping his arm playfully, "I'm queen for a reason" "that is very true, but come on back in you go" he said as he pushed me into my room.
"Okay, goodnight Anakin. I'll see you in the morning" I said as I smiled softly towards him. "Goodnight Penelope" he spoke with a smile as I watched him walk back towards his room.

"Mistress Penelope, oh mistress Penelopeeeeee" I awoke to the soft voice of my handmaiden Ellé (Ell-Ay). "Yes yes, what is it?" I questioned as I sat up from bed. "Your sister, she has returned and had requested to see you" she spoke with a smile. "Oh that's wonderful, let her know that I shall be out in a few minutes" "Yes ma lady" she bowed then exited my bedroom.

A few minutes later, there was a knock at the door. "Come in" I spoke well more like wheazed as Moteé (Mot-Tay) tightened my dress. "Penel- I mean Queen Amidala are you almost ready?" Called Anakin. "Just" *gasp* "about" *gasp*. Minutes later I was dressed and ready to leave. "You look very nice my Queen" Marquese spoke as he lead me towards the dining area where my sister was waiting.

"Senator Amidala" I nodded an bowed towards my sister, "Queen Amidala" my sister copied my actions as we sat down to dine. "How have you been Penelope?" "Quite fine, and yourself?" "Fine, extremely busy with the debates over the war" I nodded as we continued in chatting. "How long will you be staying?" I asked my sister "Just for the day, I must be getting back to Coruscant shortly, I just thought I would stop by an visit" she said smiling. "That is very kind of you Senator, I've missed having you around" I spoke while laughing a little. "As have I sister, as have I".

"Have a safe trip Padme" I spoke as I gave my sister a tight hug "I'll miss you dearly" "I'll miss you too, do come visit sometime okay?" "Okay" And with that my sister let go an boarded her ship, while waving a small goodbye.
