Chapter 14, Flashback (part one)

                                        ***Kathryn's flashback***

  We were leaving for California, but Willa didn't know that, she only knew that we were going somewhere warm.

  "California." I tell Willa.

  "What?" She asks."

  "We are going to California. I told my parents we were going to look at apartments for me." I told her as I hit an interstate.

  "Are we really looking?" She asked sounding hopeful

  "Yeah, and as soon as I find the one, I'm getting it. I have enough saved to put a down payment on a really big one, or i can pay for a couple months on a really nice one. I looked into for a while now, I know were I want to look to and maybe some apartments i want to look at." I tell her as we drive the shortest route to L.A. California.

  "Can I come live with you? You know I couldn't  just stay in Arkansas without my kitty.'' She told me.

  "You know you don't even have to ask. We are going to the same college here and all so it makes sense you would." I told her,  I glanced at her and smiled before looking to the road.

                                         ~12  hours later~  

  (I don't think you guys want to know all the songs. plus i think all the songs that would have played on the radio would have not been the kind of music I like so......yeah) 

  "Here let me drive, its been hours." Willa said, turning down the radio.

  "Okay, let me just pull over and we can get some food too." I said as we pull into the closest gas station.

  "YAY FOOD!" She yelled.

  "It's late, lets spend the night in a hotel and maybe we can find somewhere to go have some fun!" I told her as we walked into seven-eleven.

  "Okay, but it's not that late." She says as she walks away from me. 

  "It's eleven and we are in a Oklahoma." I called after her and went to go get something to drink, most likely a monster.

    "How are you this evening?" I hear a male voice say as i turn to go to the candy isle. I turn around to see one of the most hot, for that lack of a better word, guys i had ever seen. He had black hair that look kind like me, but shorter, piercing blue eyes, he was tall and slim and had pale skin. he wore a blue short sleave shirt and black skinny jeans and converses. 

  "I'm fine, how are you?" I ask, looking him over. I glanced at his wrists which looked like mine, cuts went have way up his arm and he didn't mind showing them.

  "I'm fine as well." He said, noticing me look at his wrist, he turned it around and looked up at me. "I'm Dylan. What's your name?" He asked looking blac at me.

  "Kathryn." I said holding out one of my cut arms to shake his hand. "Nice to meet you." I said, smiling. He shook my hand, and i saw that both of them were just like mine.

  "Kathryn! There you are, who is this?" She asks, looking at him.

  "Willa, this is Dylan. Dylan, this is Willa." I told them as i walked down the candy isle to get my candy, chocolate and gum. "I was just about to get this when he came to talk to me." I told her.

  "Nice to meet you." She says as another guy walks down the isle. 

  "There you are, Dylan" This guy had the same look as Dylan but his hair was blue, he wore a black shirt with red skinny jeans, and he was a bit tanner. "Oh hey, Willa!" He said.

  "Hey, Alex, met Kathryn." He said then looked at me, about to drop  something. "Here, let me help you." He grabs my gum and some of the chocolate.

  "Nice to meet you." Alex says to me.

  "We have to go pay for this and all so.....see you later, Alex." Willa says smiling. We walk to the cashier, Dylan following us with all the candy I had.he set it down on the counter and pulled out a 50 doller bill.

  "You don't have to pay for us." I said looking at him.

  "I want to. It's not everyday that you get to pay for someone so beautiful." He sais, looking back at me. I felt my cheecks heat up. I think i mumbled and okay or something, because he smiled at me and payed for us.

  "Do you want to hang out sometime, we are going to California, but we could hang out tonight." Dylan asked me.

  "We are too." I told him, not thinking what else to say. 

  "Oh, really? That's cool, maybe we could hang out then?" He asked and we all walk out side

  "Sure." I tell him and he smiles. 

  "Here, let me have your hand for a second." He said, reaching to grab something from his back pocket. I had him my hand, slowly to make sure I can make sure not to get stabbed or something. He smiles noticing my hesiation and pulls out a pen. I think I hear him mumble something like afraid to get cut but cuts yourself or something like that and writes his number down. "As soon as you get in L.A., call me." He said and smiled at me.

  "Will do." I said and walk to make car. Before I could get there he grabbed my wrist and pulled me back to him gentely. He kisses me lightly on the lips and thank or both of my wrists. 

  "I can't wait to see you again, Kathryn." He told me and then he smiled, watching my sit in my car and before i shut the door, I swear i could hear him mumble, please call me. I smiled nodding so i could let him know i would and I drove off, Willa smiling at me the whole way to the closest hotel and we got out to check in. We asked for one room with 2 beds but got a room with only one, which wasnt a problem cause we were like sisters.

  "I'm going tp ~I yawn~ change before ~i yawn again~ I go to ~I yawn again~ to bed." I yawn again before walk into the bathroom to change. I come out in my falling in revese tank top and my favorite songebob pj bottoms.
