Chapter 16, Flashback (part 3)

After I hung up the phonewedding'swent to the park.

"Alex! Come push me!" Willa called to Alex. Willa and I were swinging but I had Dylan pushing me so I could go higher.

"Coming, Love." He called to her. God they were cute together, but if he ever hurt Willa......well lets just say he won't be 'pretty' much longer.....

"What the-" I said after noticing that I had stopped swinging. I turned to look up at Dylan, but he wasn't behind me anymore. I looked down at theground to see if I had knocked him kver, but he wasn't there eitner.

"Kathryn." I heared him call my name, I turned to look at himand he was sitting in front of the swing, looking at me. "Can we talk.....alone....? I want to tell you something." He told me as I looked over at Willa, she was on the swing being pushed by Alex. Both were smiling and happy.

"Sure, why not?" I said getting off the swing. Dylan stood up gracefully.

"Cool." He said as he held out his arm for me to take as we walked. We ended up walking a tail the park had layed out and once he thought we were away from people, he begun. "Kathryn, what did you think of me, the first time you say me?" He asked me.

"Ithought you were perfect." I told him, looking down as I felt my face heat up. "I thought how could anyone this perfect talk to me, someone so messed up and-" He cut me by kissing me. We stayed like that for a few seconds. When we brke apart I was that first one to speak "That was a nice way of telling me to shut up." I said and looked back at him.

"Ithought the same thing but, I didnt notice you as we walked into the store. I was with Alex and we were going to go met Willa and her friend, you. We were supposed to met and all, become friends. Willa set it up. She wanted you to met me, before telling ypu about them, something to mak it easier to talk to you about Alex. She thought it would-" I cut him off.

"I get what she was trying to do, somerhing to make me be the topic if I flipped out on her. But continue to the part about you not noticing me, please." I looked at him, a little hurt that he didn't notice me, but I k ew I was plain for the sytyle I was dressed in. The style most people called "emo".

He must have noticed the hurt I felt as he grabbed my chin to pull my face to lookat him. "I thought you would be with Willa. He some how knew what you looked liked," Willa liked to take pictures of me, even if I didn't like them." He poimted you out to me. He took a picture of my face, I looked so suprised. He told me I should close my mouth before I let flies in. I couldn't believe that I was the lucky guy that would talkto you, the first time I looked at you was when I thoughti had seen an anfel I mean, I had never seen anyone so perfectly in tuned and yet so clueless. Clueless of all the beauty she had and intuned to all the world can give us. I smiled and walked over to you as I thought of what to say. But as soon as you walked past me, I couldnt think of anything so I just said the first thing on my mind." He said looking at me sheepishly.

"T-t.......I-I"I looked at him, not being able to say anything really. I looked up at him, he looked down at me. "I have no idea what to say, I was never told anything likw that before." I said looking down. I mumbled "never thought I would, either." I bushed and looked back up T him. He was smiling at me like, he also had a blush on his face. God he was so cute......I' so lucky to even talk to him.

~7 hours later~

"The bride killed the groom

Shes getting married at the altar

And everybody knows that she's gonna pull the trigger

Even the priest said shoot but she never asks
