~Mark's POV~
I can't believe that I worked up the courage to ask Max out. I was scared shitless, I never thought I would ever do it. Or find the right girl.
"Mark!" Someone yells to me. Then grabs me by neck and slams me against a car. "Why'd you ask her?" Ashton asked.
"What?" I push him off me.
"Why'd you ask Max? You knew damn well I was." Ashton said.
"What are you talking about? We never speak to each other." I yell.
"Mark, just stay away from Max, she's mine. If I see you with her, I will kill you." Ashton says and pushes me before leaving.
"Pack up! Time to leave." Sal says. Finally.
"Mark! Wait!" Max calls to me. "Meet me back here okay?" Max says.
"Okay, see you later." I quickly get to my car and drive up to my apartment. I take a shower quickly and change into some jeans and a white shirt. I wonder if she's as excited as me. My plan is to find a candy store, get candy and go back to the house and just like sit on the roof and talk I guess. That's what I've been building on the back of the house a little bench on the roof, to see all the buildings and just the beautiful view.
I drive back up to the site and see Max sitting on the hood of her car. She turned and look at me and smiled. "Hi, Mark." Max says and walks towards me. I don't know what subconsciously made me hug her but I did, and it was really nice.
"So, I have an idea, what if we like went to this candy store, and then I built a thing on the roof, I think it's kind of cool." I said as I lead her to my car.
"It sounds perfect." Max said and took my hand.
We got to the candy store and I got excited. Max bought our stuff because I accidentally left my wallet at home and I felt really bad making her have to pay. When we got back to the house, the bench turned out and the view was beautiful, and so was the buildings and the sunset.
"Mark, this is awesome." Max says and lays her head on my shoulder. I wrap my arms around her and just hold on. I really like Max.
