Louis' POV
"Harry covering my eyes is not going to help you win. Just admit that you suck at FIFA," I joked with him as he tried to cheat his way to victory.
"I do not suck at this game. I play it all the time with Liam," Harry said still covering my eyes.
"Well who wins when you play?" I asked wondering how he could be so bad at this game if he played all the time.
"Well Liam pretty much always beats me, unless I pout and then he lets me win," his friendship with Liam I could tell was something important to him.
"Are you ever removing your hand from over my eyes?" I laughed as he quickly removed his hand as I licked it.
"Babe that's gross!" Harry pouted, rubbing his hand on my sweatpants.
"That's what you get for cheating. Well trying to cheat. Did you not even score one point?" I asked, laughing as I saw the score was still the same.
"You were distracting me," he blushed as he put the controller onto the coffee table in my room. We had decided to stay up in my room and avoid my family. They knew Harry was here, but my parents didn't make a big deal about it. They knew I was gay and they accepted it the second I had told them. Well my mom and step dad did. I didn't talk to my real dad anymore. One thing nice about being gay though was that my parents didn't have to worry about me getting a girl pregnant. They let me live my life and didn't make much of a fuss. Things would probably be a little different though if I had less siblings. Being one of seven means you get away with a little more.
"So, are you and Liam ever going to talk again?" I felt that this was important for me to ask. Liam was like his other half and I knew it would be difficult for us to start a relationship if he was fighting with his best friend. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have Zayn to talk to.
"We actually worked it out. That's the reason I came back. He told me to ask you out before someone else did. He's staying at my house tonight actually."
"Without you there?"
"Well yeah. It's not that weird my parents consider him like one of their kids. He's stayed there before when I'm not there. He even has his own room at my house. He and his parents don't get along all the time," Harry said laying his head onto my lap. I started to run my fingers through his long curls as he talked.
"That must be rough. I'm so close to my mom and siblings that I couldn't imagine fighting with them," yeah I had small fights with my parents but nothing major.
"Yeah I'm that way with my mom. I mean Robin is great and I'm happy he makes my mom happy. My mom has just always been there for me, and she always keeps us grounded and makes us feel loved. Liam's parents really just wanted a kid to say they had one, and they seem to have only adopted Liam for the sympathy and so Liam's mom didn't have to gain baby weight," Harry said frowning as he talked about them. I had seen Liam's parents at school functions. They were always dressed beautifully and seemed very put together. My step dad was their plastic surgeon so Mark knew them pretty well. From what I got from him he wasn't a big fan of the two.
"That's explains a lot about Liam then," I said accidentally out loud.
"Liam's not bad after you get to know him," Harry quickly defended his friend.
"Yeah it's the same with Zayn. Most people think he's just some weird druggy but he's a sweetheart once you get through to him," I told him. Zayn didn't like letting people in. I don't really understand why because his mom had always raised him to be open and to do whatever he wanted. Which as of right now was drugs, drawing and music.
"Yeah I try to avoid judging others because at our school people are always hiding something," Harry mumbled trying to cuddle closer to me. I could tell he was getting tired, but it was past midnight. I hadn't realized how long we had been playing that game for.
"Do you want to go to bed," I said to him moving his hair out of his face.
"Am I sleeping in here with you?""If you want to? We do have guest rooms though if you'd feel comfortable within that," I didn't want to force him into anything.
"No I'll sleep in here with you," he mumbled rubbing his eyes. "I'm telling you now though that I like to be the little spoon."
I laughed thinking about our size difference. But I didn't mind being the big spoon. I got into my side of the bed as Harry went to the other side and got under the covers. He turned over and I moved over wrapped my arm around his waist. I flipped the lights off with my iPad and cuddled closer to him. We both feel asleep quickly and I just couldn't believe how lucky I had gotten that my crush had licked me back.
