Part 8: Hostage

The sun slowly rose in the sky and the beams of light streaked through the tall trees of the forest, the beams soon struck the side of the truck parked in the middle of the forest, as the morning went on the sun moved higher and higher into the sky, it then started to shine through the bedroom window and onto the bed sheets, Decker and Lilith were still asleep from last night under the sheets, Lilith was sleeping on her stomach and had an arm laid across Decker's chest, as the sun got higher still the light shined onto his closed eyes, he twitched as he tried to resist it but the power of the sun made him open one eye, he instantly closed it when the sun's power blinded him, he let out a groan and pulled the sheets off slightly, "alright, alright I'm getting up!" he thought loudly to himself, as he started to get off the bed he heard a soft moan, then a force tugged him across his stomach pulling him back onto the bed, he looked to his right and saw Lilith still fast asleep, it was like she was subconsciously trying to keep him with her, even so Decker slowly severed himself from the grip of her fingers and slowly got up, he then laid her arm across the bed keeping it in a similar position as before, he also took something off a shelf but as he did this he looked down and realized he was still naked, he looked around but his clothes were nowhere in sight, "shit, where are my clothes?" he said quietly to himself, he looked inside a cupboard to the side of the bed and looked around for something to wear quietly trying not to wake Lilith up, he sighed in relief as he found a blue dressing gown dawned with the Atlas logo, after putting it on he quietly walked out of the room and walked to the front.

As he walked through the door he saw Kahn and Oz were already up as usual, "damn what time is it?" Decker asked them both, "like almost noon" Oz replied, "dang, how do you guys get on with not that much sleep?" Decker said to him, Oz just shrugged his shoulders unknowingly, Decker then grabbed a cup of coffee from the coffee machine and sat at the table, Kahn then decided to ask him what happened last night, "Decker what did you do last night?" he asked him, "err...I took a shower and then went to bed, I think Lilith joined me an hour later" Decker replied, "oh really?" Kahn said as he knew he was bluffing, he walked over the dryer and took something out, he walked back over and put the piece of clothing on the table, Decker saw it was Lilith's white brassiere, "then how come Lilith's stuff was among yours in the bathroom?" Kahn said smartly, Decker tried to play it on but after a while he sighed in frustration "okay, okay we showered together" he admitted, "and what happened in there?" Kahn continued, Decker just looked at him blankly with palms out, then a smile formed on Kahn's face, "I know what you did, you drilled her didn't you?" he said jokingly, "god, now you kind of put me off showering in there" Oz interrupted, "what!? no I didn't drill her in there!" Decker quickly replied, "but did you in the bedroom?" Kahn continued, Decker simply signed as he got up, "okay yes I did and you know what, it was the best night of my life, the best night of her life as well" he replied, he took Lilith's brassiere off the table, walked over to the dryer and took the clothes out, he then started to walk back to the bedrooms with a hand in one of the pockets of Lilith's jacket in the pile.

Decker walked back into the bedroom and Lilith was still in the same position as before, he put the pile on the floor and he crouched next to the bed, he then put his hand on her shoulder and shook her slightly, "hey missy it's time to get up" he said softly, Lilith simply groaned and grabbed the pillow her head was on, "five more minutes mom" she said to herself still with her eyes closed, Decker chuckled a bit and shook her a bit more, "come on now, you can't sleep forever" he said softly again, Lilith turned her head and opened one eye, she then groaned a bit and sat up, keeping herself covered with the sheets, "what time is it?" she said while rubbing the morning dust out of her eyes, "almost noon, that's what the others said" he replied, Lilith then started to let the sheets slip off her body but Decker stopped her, "hey before you show your rack off, how about you get dressed" he suggested putting her clothes on the bed next to her, Lilith looked at them and noticed they were clean, "wow who cleaned these?" she questioned him, "you can thank Oz for that" Decker replied, Lilith started putting her clothes on under the sheets, after putting his pants and trousers on under his dressing gown Decker took it off showing his muscular chest as he put his shirt on, after getting dressed Lilith was looking for something but was in distress as she couldn't find it, "fuck! where is it?" she said to herself, "where's what?" Decker interrupted while fastening his belt, "my wedding ring, it's gone, I swear I put it up here" she replied pointing at the shelf, she then reached into her jacket pocket and also to her misbelief the other ring was gone as well, "well, do you really need them?" Decker questioned her, Lilith looked down and signed, "I probably don't need them, I think I just like having something shiny on my finger" she replied, "don't worry, it'll probably turn up again" Decker said comforting her, Lilith managed a smile and the two walked out of the room, they both walked hand in hand to the front.
