Monroe's POV

I was currently sat in the Homestead with the keepers and several other random Gladers including Cleopa for a Gathering so we have an idea on what to do with Thomas.  Personally I think that he should get some sort of punishment. I mean he did break the number one rule. Even I wouldn't break it, but banishment is a bit far. He did save Alby and Minho after all. Finally Minho and Newt walked in. Newt stood at the front facing everyone and Minho sat next to me putting his arm round my shoulder kissing me on the cheek. I blushed as he smirked.

"Okay everyone as we know we are here today to discuss Thomas's little trip into the maze with a Minho here" Newt said nodding his head towards Minho "I'm here because as Alby is currently sick with the Medjacks, but we are still going to do it the same."

"Just banish him Slinthead it's not that hard" Gally butted in. I just scoffed and he glared at me "while we're at it banish the girls to. Why are they here they don't even do anything"

"At least I do my shucking job! All you do is complaining about Thomas. Well SUCK. IT. UP. Because he's staying!" I was atually about to explode. This slinthead always thinks he can just run the place. News flash your not in charge eyebrows!

"Both of you bloody be quiet!" Newt complained "Winston you go first" I just rolled my eyes and looked over at Winston to see what he had to say.

"Well I think Thomas did save Alby but he did also break the number one rule and should get some kind of punishment" He said awkwardly shifting in his chair from everyone looking at him.

"Yeah and that Punishment is Banishment" Gally murmured but everyone could clearly hear it.

"Gally shut your shucking hole for once!" I smirked biting my lip trying not to laugh but failing and letting out a small giggle.

"Monroe" Newt said sternly.

"What?" I said innocently which cause Minho to snort. I glared at him.

"Carry on Newt" Minho said.

"Okay Winston I'm writing that down." Newt says scribbling down on a piece of paper. A few more other people went round and started saying what they wanted whilst Gally made remarks all the shucking time, but I have to admit it was funny watching Newt shout at Gally. Finally it got down to the last few people. Minho and of course Gally.

"Monroe would you like to say something?" Newt asked.

"Huh? I'm not a keeper what does it matter?"

"She's finally learning her place I see" Gally said.

"Shuck off Gally" Minho grumbled.

"Gally if you speak one more time out of turn I will ground you young man! Er I mean I won't even consider your opinion!" That shut him up as he wanted Thomas banished so badly. (A/N: Mama Noot is here )

"I think that Thomas should not be banished but I don't know maybe like have to wash the clothes for a week because I know you don't like doing them Mama Noot" (A/N: okay I will stop now)

"Okay I'm writing that down Monroe"

"Minho you want to say something?" Newt asked which to be honest is a stupid question.

"I just want to say that in all the years we've been here no one has seen a greiver and lived to tell he tale and then this shank shows up and kills one, and when I turned tail and ran that dumb shank stayed to help Alby. Someone who he barely knew and someone I have known since as long as I can remember. Litreally. Now I don't know if he's brave or stupid.." I soon got bored of his speech and I had a drink until he said something.

"I saw we make him the keeper of the runners" I spat out my drink almost imediatly and started having a coughing fit.

"See even your girlfriend thinks it's a dumb idea" Gally remarked.

"Hate to agree with him but he's right Minho. He's been in there once. You've been in the for 2 years now! He can't possibly be a keeper"  All he'll broke out and everyone was arguing.

"Everybody shut up! Minho I'm writing it down. Gally your turn"

"I stick by what I said he should be banished. The shank deserves it. We broke the number one rule. He deserves it. All of it. Not to mention the girls" He says glaring at me and Cleopa.

"The Shuck did we do?!" I yelled.

"SLIM IT! Gally I'm writing that down." Newt sighed. He rubbed his forehead obviously exausted. Who can blame him though. "Okay" He huffed "I finally made a desicion. Minho hat suggesten was bloody stupid and Gally IS right we can't have non runners running the maze so from now on he is a runner. We will wait for about a month then see. Okay?"

"I can deal with it" Minho says leaning back in his chair clearly satisfied with the agrangment.

"But greenie does have to be punished" That's when Gally's eyes lit up like diamonds.

"One day in the slammer. Bread and water" He stated. Gally was beyond furious.

"Surely we should vote" He suggested.

"This isn't a decromcricy Gally" I saw rolling my eyes.

"Fine everyone for the arrangement" Most people's hand went up cleary happy with it.

"Everyone one against" Suprise suprise  look who's hand went up. Ding! Ding! Ding! That's right Gally's. Gally again was furious and went storming out. He acts like a right shucking child sometimes. We can finally end the day. Or so I thought. Thomas frantically came in shouting.

"Night was slightly delusional or some hung I don't know" but it was the next part what hit me. "She's stuck in the maze!"
