The Bad Boy or The Good Guy

~ Dres

=================================

I looked in the mirror and knew I was ready. The closet held the new dress that my mom bought for me when we moved here.

The dress was peachy pink, and had a black sheer under skirt. Very cute, if I do say so myself.

My phone dinged.

Isaac Winters: Hey, I'm almost to your house. Can't wait to see you! Got something fun planned! Boi!

I twirled with joy, and plopped down on my bed. I'm usually not this happy unless it's my birthday. A car horn honked, I rushed to the window to see Isaac in his car. I waved him to come inside.

Rushing down the stairs I almost fall to my death when I trip on the last step. An awkward noise escapes my mouth as my mom opens the door and Isaac is there smiling ear to ear. I most likely have the same face.

I quickly stand up, wiping any dirt that might have grabbed a hold of me when I nearly died. I walked up to him. He was very tall, and his messy brown hair made him look older. "You look, beautiful." He said in awe, "Not that you don't always look beautiful, because you're always beautiful." He said trying to reassure me.

A giggle escaped my mouth, I couldn't help it; he was more than perfect.

"Thank you Isaac." I blushed extremely, as I took his hand and walked him into the living room. "My dad wants to meet you."

"Oh no." He gulped his spit, and his hand grew sweaty.

"You don't have to be nervous. He's a really good dad." I reassured him.

He giggled nervously, "Yeah, good dad's are protective."

We sat down on the couch, and I gave him a big hug. "What's this for?" He asked as he hugged me back.

I giggled, "Hugs calm the soul." I smirked as I looked into his deep blue eyes, "And they make you live longer, because hugs make people happy."

"Who is this secret genius?" Isaac swiped my hair out of my face. I just shrugged.

Soon, my father came into the living room; along with my mother and sister. My sister had the same matching blonde hair as me; my mom was the one who gave us her looks, and my dad... he's raised us to be strong, and not date morons who want to sleep with us. So thankful for him.

My dad shook Isaacs hand and sat in the loveseat in front of us. He smiled, "So, you're Isaac?"

Isaac nodded, and smiled, "Yes sir."

"Where do you plan on taking Lennon?" My mom asked as she sat next to my dad.

"Can I whisper it to y'all?" He asked as he stood up.

My mom smirked and nodded. He quickly walked over to them and whispered it to my family. I smiled because it was adorable, my sister looked over at me and smirked along while shaking her head. "He's a good one." She mouthed.

"I know!" I mouthed and nodded my head.

He came and sat down next to me, he looked at me with the biggest smile. "Ok, well we don't wanna take up any more of y'alls time." My mom smiled and stood up.

I quickly gave them all hugs, and then we left my house. He opened the car door for me, and I sat down and buckled up. "Where are we going?" I asked as I looked over at him.

"If I told you it wouldn't be a surprise." His smirk was adorable.

After a twenty minute drive, we were in a field of flowers and grass. "This is beautiful. What are we doing here?" I asked him as I gave him a hug.

"Okay, so I know it looks like I drove you to the middle of nowhere... I promise I'm not gonna kill you." He giggled. "If you give me just a few more minutes, I promise it will all make sense." He held my hand as we walked up a little hill.

We continued to walk. A few minutes past, and there was a barn. A cute nice green barn. "What's this?" I smiled as we approached the cute barn.

"Have you ever rode a horse?" He asked as he grabbed a saddle.

"Me?" I giggled, "City girl? Ummm, no. I've always wanted to though."

"I'm gonna teach you." He smiled. The saddle looked light the way he carried it. But when I tried grabbing the other one, I couldn't even get it off of the ground. He laughed, "Let me help you." He picked it up.

"What? How can you lift that- that, elephant?!" I exaggerated.

He giggled, "Lots of practice." He hooked it up to the horse, "Would you like some help getting up there?"

I smiled, "Um, sure."

Isaacs hands were warm and strong. And big. He wrapped them on my hips, and lifted me up in the air so I could sit on the horses saddle. "You look good up there. Fitting in already." He smirked as he walked over to his horse and jumped on. Like an angel gliding in air.

We had the horses trot for awhile, then we raced, then we had them slowly walk so we could have a conversation.

"So, why did the city girl, move to North Carolina?" Isaac asked as he ran his fingers through his hair.

I looked at the ground in front of me and smiled, "Well, my dad worked for a really big company. The name doesn't matter because it's no longer there. Well, he worked there for a very long time, and well, the company became bankrupt. So they laid everyone off, and the government shut the company down. Everything in L.A is already so expensive, and since my dad didn't have a job, every thing was outrageous. So my mom and dad found a job offer here, they got excepted so we moved here."

"That's awesome! Well, not awesome for your parents... but I'm glad you moved here, because I got to meet you." He smiled and held my hand as his horse scooted closer to me.

"I'm glad I moved here too." I smiled, and squeezed his hand. "I've always wanted to be a country girl. Having a life like this, is all I've ever wanted."

"Its amazing. I've never wanted anything other than this... except for finding an amazing girl like you."

I couldn't help but blush. How could a guy that is as handsome as him be so sweet? "I really wanna say something, but I don't want it to be too soon." I looked at the ground.

His hand touched my face. "Hey, let's stop here for a little bit." He got off his horse, and helped me off of mine. There was a pond next to where we tied the horses.
He held my hand as we walked closer to the pond. "What's up?" He asked me as his blue eyes met mine.

I kept wanting to look at the ground but his eyes, were so entrancing. "Okay, I'm just gonna say it... because I don't wanna regret the chances I didn't take."

Isaacs smile made my heart drop, "Okay, Isaac... I lo-" my words were cut off by his lips crashing onto mine. His lips were sweet, and soft. Just like him.

"I feel the same." He smiled and kissed me again.
