"Mum!?"
Luke called out into the silent house as he opened the door,
"Mum, I brought you dinner!"
Luke was confused on why she wasn't answering or shouting back.
His eyes quickly widened as he ran upstairs and opened the door to her room as fast as he could.
"Luke! Don't just barge in here!"
Liz said as she jumped.
"God, mum! Didn't you hear me calling you?"
Luke exclaimed gripping to his aching chest.
"I' m fine Luke..."
She smiled sadly adjusting her beanie,
"This cancer hasn't won yet."
