Chapter 1: Arriving at the college

A red Mini Cooper with black vine patterns scattered across the sides, slowly drove its way down into the parking lot of Yolandale High School. Finding a parking space, the driver parks the car and stops the engine.

The back passenger door opens, revealing a young girl at the age of 14 with the name Jayleen Stevens. Jayleen Stevens is the daughter of Melissa Yoshima, whom is known as the CEO of Yoshima Makeup Designs. Ltd.

Jayleen withdraws her luggage from the boot, placing it on the four wheels. Politely she thanked driver and headed to the entrance of the school to check in.

The minute Jayleen stepped into the foyer, she spotted individuals scattered loosely around her. This immediately let her wonder what kind of people she'll meet. Jerks? Or perhaps a person who actually cares about her.

A man stands behind the Reception Counter smirks when he sees a new lady face walking towards him.especially one that is pulling an total innocent facade.

"Hi. Do you need any help?" The man asked sweetly when Jayleen stopped in front of the counter.

"Hi. Yes, I would like to know my dorm's number as well as my schedule for classes." Jayleen answers politely ending of with a sweet smile.

"What's your name?" The man asks her.

"Jayleen. Jayleen Stevens."

As the man types away on the computer, Jayleen took a glimpse of his tag and noticed his name is Richard. Richard takes the freshly printed schedule along with the dorm keys and handed them to Jayleen.

"Here you go. Your dorm is by Hera's Hall, which is on your right when you walk to the entrance at your right." Richard kindly informed her.

"Thank you, Richard." Jayleen thanked him while giving a wider stretch at her smile she was already wearing.

Jayleen headed to her right and walked out of the entrance and what she saw amazed her. In front of her is four buildings strongly built. These five buildings is built in shape of a pentagon, each facing the middle which is a huge park with students roaming on it as hurrying to somewhere in the school.

Jayleen quickly headed towards Hera's Hall to arrive at her dorm sooner. When the entered, the hall she looked for the elevator to be lifted to floor six.

Looking for the room 602, Jayleen slowly wonders through the halls on this floor. She reached her room after a good amount of searching and recognized that her roommate as not arrived yet. Choosing the inner side of the room, Jayleen quietly unpacks her clothing and belongings.

The room has an en suite bathroom, two built-in closets, two queen sized beds and two study desks. The inner side that Jayleen had chosen has a window by her study desk. The window is designed so that there's space for a person to sit on the sill.

While sitting there and watching the view of the busy city streets, the room's door opened and in came a female student. Jayleen whipped her head to see who it is and got off the sill to greet this student.

"Hello, I'm Jayleen." Jayleen introduced warmly.

"Hey, I'm Beatrice." The student replied and swiftly pulled Jayleen into a warm embrace.

This sudden pull caused Jayleen to hiss and wince in extreme pain. Beatrice pulls away and questions about it.

"It's nothing but just a rare disease causing my body to be extremely fragile." Jayleen explains like it's not a big deal at all.

Beatrice understood and walked away to unpack her own things, leaving Jayleen to watch the view from the window silently. While watching and admiring the view, Jayleen couldn't help but wonder what this moving out of the house may bring out. A course of good luck? Or perhaps an experience just like driving on an overly bumpy road?

Jayleen informed her just-married Mother about boarding in a HighSchool far away from where her home has been. Her Mother didn't seem to worry and all sorted it out for her.

But Jayleen has forgotten to inform her friends about this, especially her best friend, Rebecca. Now all she hopes is Rebecca doesn't get upset on hearing about this news.

What will this big move bring to her life?
