Chapter 2: Meeting Blane
The school's corridor is crowded with students making their way to the basketball court, which is situated in the Pandora's Hall. As students moved hastily, Jayleen can be seen among the crowd walking next to Beatrice talking about funny nothings. When the students enter the already half-full court they quickly find a space to stand, and quickly settled down as the Headmaster stood in front of the microphone and smoothly cleared his throat.
"G'morning students." Headmaster, Mr Goode, spoke through the microphone. The students responded in choruses of 'Morning sir.'
"Today there will be an outdoor activity for the whole school. Everyone is strictly bound to enter this unless there's a problem then we shall seek to that," Mr Goode smoothly announced in a professional and strict tone. "I will kindly ask all of the students, here, to assemble at the Center Park at nineteen-hundred-hours. Thank you."
With that said by the headmaster, some students came up to present some school's sports and club. After the presentations were all done, the Headmaster dismissed the whole school by singing the school' song. Jayleen is brilliant in singing but she thinks of otherwise. She has been awarded soprano in primary school and has been awarded with trophies and certificates which is currently decorating her room that she lives alone because of her mother issues.
She moved away from the city into another city located in another state. Her mother didn't have any issues since she didn't focus on what she wanted to do or where she wanted to study at as long as she gets to be Business Majored.
A long day with boring class sessions of countless 'important' things that Jayleen already know of, Jayleen quietly makes her way through the semi-noisy corridor to the elevator in Hera's Hall. Fourth floor is where her dorm is. When Jayleen entered her room she hurriedly went to her table to in dose her medication because the pain is unbearable. Just as her pain faded and her muscles relaxed, a knock is heard on the door.
Confused, she pulled the door open and her view is blocked by a chest. This person has his arm in midair, in position to knock again. The hasty moves has Jayleen bumping softly on Blane's chest with a small exclaim of 'oomph' from Jayleen. When the two made eye contact, they both felt like time has stopped. Earth has stopped rotating, spinning. All matters has frozen. Using the cheesiest phrase said ...
"They instantly fell in love. The Ultimate love in First Sight."
Suddenly, as if the world had start spinning again and time has been started all again, both Jayleen and Blane pulled back with startled looks.
"I'm Blane. Blane de Lora" Blane smoothly soothes the awkward silence between them.
"Oh! I'm Jayleen Stevens." Jayleen responded and shot open her arms wanting for a hug. Blane immediately hugged her, engulfing her in a warm hug.
"There you are! I have finally found you, Jayleen!" A female voice shouts from the end of the hallway.
Jayleen pulls back and looks to the direction of the voice. She gasped loudly and immediately ran towards this female teenager. "Rebecca!"
"Of course, it's me!" When Jayleen had reach Rebecca, they both hugged the life out of each other. "How dare you leave me all alone, without knowing anything and expected me to forget about you and move on with life!"
Rebecca angrily outbursts her true emotions and harshly but yet playfully punching Jayleen on her shoulders.
"Ow!" Jayleen screeches in loud pain.
When this outburst is being heard by Blane, whom is currently caught up in a conversation with Beatrice, he instinctively rushes to Jayleen's side examining her.
"Are you okay?" Blane asks while looking up and down for any wounds. "In any pain? Where does it hurt?"
"I'm fine, see?" Jayleen jokingly answered the worried Blane with a small laugh.
Blane nodded and walked to the now frustrated Beatrice, while Jayleen faces Rebecca and continues with her conversation as well. She resumed to telling why she had moved here, claiming that her best friend knows she hates saying goodbyes.
Jayleen got so caught up on catching up with Rebecca, since it has been two months of not seeing each other, that she hadn't realize Blane had left and she is already sitting on her bed, inside her room, introducing Rebecca to Beatrice. The three girls automatically clicked and they later figured out that Rebecca has already been enrolled into their school. Time flies when they had fun, that they had to get ready hastily for the assemble their Headmaster had ordered that morning.
Right on time, at nineteen-hundred-hours (19H00) the whole is assembled in the Center's Park all awaiting on their Headmaster's next command. While waiting, Rebecca, Beatrice and Jayleen continues talking and sharing their classes that they'll be attending. A pair of arms wraps its way around Jayleen's shoulders, holding onto her, interrupting her in the middle of the sentence.
"Hello, Kitten."
Jayleen turns slightly to see the face resting comfortably on her shoulders.
"Blane!" She exclaims, and almost immediately she wraps her arms around Blane's neck, embracing him into a hug.
Both Rebecca and Beatrice shares a knowing look at each other each wearing a very warm smile.
"So, since you two have already met. Jayleen this is my brother Blane." Beatrice introduced her beloved brother at the perfect timing.
Jayleen pull back a little and has the cutest shocked face, "Brother?"
"Yup!" Both the siblings answered her, while popping the 'p' sound.
"Alright now, everyone." Mr Goode says loudly for everyone to hear. "You will be separated due to your grade groups and and is paired up with your roommates. Each bus will take one-fifty (150) learners, so get going."
Every student calmly searched for their roommate and going on the buses. Just as Jayleen and Beatrice is leaving, Blane pulls Jayleen into a sweet embrace. He swiftly finds Jayleen's lips and plants a warm kiss it. Jayleen moans in shock but cools down quickly and pecked Him back.
After sharing the kiss, they slowly pulled away and went on different buses along with their roommates.
