I groaned. My head hurt and not just a light hurt. Oh no, it was a horrible pounding. It even seemed in sync with my heartbeat. It also didn't help that light flooded into my eyes even though they were closed. In general my body hurt all over. I also wondered where I was. It didn't feel like the train since I didn't feel like I was moving or feeling like I was going to be sick. Opening my eyes slowly I saw a roof that was patched in some places and apparently leaking in others. Sitting up slowly I felt a huge throb of pain rush to my head and I groaned yet again. "Fuuuck..."I muttered under my breath. "Here, drink this. It'll help with the pain."A deep voice murmured. I looked to my right and saw a strange man. He had wild brown hair and deep brown eyes. His skin was very tan and he looked like he had a perpetual scowl on his face as well as some stubble from shaving his face. His ears were pierced and blue dangle earrings hung from them. He was in a pale shirt with a dark red over shirt and tan pants. On his back was a sword. In his hand was a cup with some unidentifiable liquid in it.

However it was hot and from the sound of things it was raining outside. "Thanks."I murmured as I took the warm cup. Taking a sip from it I nearly gagged. The man chuckled as he sat down by me, "Not much for fresh coffee?"He asked. I shrugged and took another swig. As I kept drinking it, the taste became more appealing. "I'm Beckett Sandoval. What's your name?"I asked. The man looked at me for a second and smirked, "Sebastian Break."

"Where are my friends? Have you seen them?"

"Resting up in various places in my house."

"Where are we?"

"Bat Country."

That name rung a bell. Bat Country was known for being a poor area with very fertile lands. Crops were mostly grown here. Everyone around here had a sort of nomadish look to them. Or so they say. Anyone who lived here were said to be very violent and unfriendly. However Sebastian was very nice. I wonder if the people who wrote the books about this place and wrote text books on this place were wrong. "Beckett!"Rhia yelled and ran into the room. Sebastain immediately frowned as she rushed over and hugged me. However both Rhia and I grimaced. "Ow!"We groaned and fell back. I looked over and saw that her shoulder was bandaged tightly. "What happened to your arm?"I asked worriedly. "Oh nothing, it's just a scratch."She said. I frowned, I could tell that she wasn't telling me the whole story. Suddenly however Sebastian smacked Rhia's head and she fell on her face. "Shut up bitch! You know that was worse than you said. Don't play it off as a minor scratch!"He snarled.

Rhia got back up on her feet and punched Sebastian. "Shut up bastard! And don't go hitting on injured people!"She snarled. Sebastain whipped out his sword as did Rhia.

"You wanna die bitch?"

"Bring it on bastard. I don't think you could take me. Hurt arm or not."

"VOOOOIIII! It's on!"

"Hell yeah it is!"

At this point they started to clash blades and I sighed. Getting to my feet I yanked Rhia back and took her sword. "Sebastian, please refrain from killing her. You two can fight when she's better."I said. However Sebastian ignored me and kept coming for her. I let Rhia go and used her blade to parry his. Quickly dropping down I swept his feet out from under him. However he just went along with it and easily got right back onto his feet without missing a step.  He careened forward and arched his sword for me. I narrowly missed him and then sent a kick into his stomach. My arm then gave out and I face planted. I groaned because I wasn't going to be able to keep this up for much longer. "Enough!"I pleaded. Something must've gotten through since Sebastian stopped and looked at me. "Fine, but I want to fight you."He said to Rhia. I sighed, finally I was getting somewhere. "Alright, when i'm better i'll fight you all you want." Rhia replied. Sebastian snorted and moved off somewhere else.
