   (Bella's Point Of View)

       I ran inside the house, leaving my dad to get the load of luggage. There, sitting in the living room with a heavenly box of pizza in front of her, was my big sister Alexis. After our mom left, she suddenly became one of the constant people in my life. It fit too, because with her red hair and green eyes, she was all our mother. I was more my father, with brown hair and blue eyes, framed by thick lashes. Alexis squealed, sprang up from the couch, and gave me a giant hug.

      "What are you doing back from Washington university? I asked happily, giving her a look up and down to ensure that she wasn't skipping meals because of finals.

"Are you kidding me, Bella? I couldn't miss the arrival of my little sister! Did you get me any awesome presents?" She asked, causing me to roll my eyes.

" Yes, my loveable older sister, I got you and dad a load of presents. But you are going to have to wait. I'm tired, and let me warn you that if you ever think about going through my suitcase, that delicious biscotti will be eaten by by the wolves in the La Push forest. Savvy?" I replied, and my sister sighed, pouting.

At this point, Dad felt that he had to interrupt the conversation with an effective clearance of his throat. "Ahem, but I have something really special for Bella!" He almost sang, and I gasped.

"Are they here, are they here? Can I please see them Dad, please?" I begged, not caring if I sounded like a 4 year old.

By now it was Dads turn to roll his eyes. "Yes, I will bring out the college acceptance letters." I squealed happily, and the other 2 winced, causing me to tone it down. Dad went into one of the kitchen drawers, and I bounced in my seat, my eyes glittering with excitement. Dad set down a stack of envelopes in front of me, and I immediately went for the first one, ripping it open without a second thought. This one was to princeton, and I gasped, my eyes widening at the contents of the letter. The excitement barely contained, I showed them the letter... of acceptance. I wad accepted into Princeton University?

    Reaching over the coffee table, I gave bot my dad and Alexis a huge hug, both of them shouting their congratulations as I vibrated with excitement. Pulling back, I reached for the rest of the envelopes, still trembling as if I had 16 cups of coffee.

"Im so proud of you Bella! Your really are a swan. Full of talent!" Dad ecxlaimed proudly. "Thank you daddy, I replied, but a small frown appeared on my face." Now the only problem is that I have no idea where I should go!" I sighed, slumping into the couch.

"Why don't you just go to Washington university? It's close to home and your sister goes there to!" Dad exclaimed, and I was just about to tell him that it was my decision and I could go anywhere I wanted to but Alexis beat me to it.

"Dad, Bella is not about to base her
Decision depending on how many hours it'll take to get here. This education will decide what life has in store for her! Don't you want to let her take her own decision for once?" Alexis exclaimed heatedly, and my mouth opened in shock. Alexis never, and I mean never blew up like this.

God only knows how dad will react.
