"Papyrus, do you want anything?" It's late at night, but I'm crying more than I ever have before. H-how? How c-could I do this to him? He...I...killed Papyrus...and now...No! I'm more determined than I ever have been!!! Out of all the characters in Undertale, the skelebros are my favorite's!!! I can't believe I was convinced by my friend Y/F/N to play a genocide route first!! I don't care how long this takes me, I WILL go down the pacifist route!!! I want...scratch that! I NEED to give them their happy ending! The ending Chara scene is scary, but I won't give up! I click the reset button, suddenly I hear, "Knowing that you can one day you can save them, it fills you with determination." Wait what?! Drowsiness overcomes me and my eyes become heavier.
When I open my eyes, I see a terrifying sight in front of me. I'm on yellow flowers and....wait ...I know this scene. This IS Undertale!! How did I even get here?! I walk down a corridor and arrive at...that place... "Howdy! I'm Flowey the flower!" Oh no... "Hey Flowey?" "Yes?" " If you give your intro, I will pluck your petals." "Oh..." "I already know who and what you are. After all, I just reset." Flowey looks at me with wide eyes. "Wait, your not Frisk, who are you?!" I look down and realize I look the same as my real self, and not like the usual avatar sprite. "I'm Y/N and I'm waiting for someone to come right now." "I don't care who you are, bUt YoU wIlL dIe HeRe!" My heart came out my chest, or to be more specific, my soul. To my surprise, it's my favorite color, F/C. Man I was afraid this would happen. Flowey surrounded me with 'friendliness pellets'. "DIE." Wait for it.
Toriel comes in from the side and knocks Flowey away. "What a terrible creature, tormenting such a poor innocent youth. Ah do not be afraid my child. I'm T-" I begin crying. The memories of killing her...She was the one who made me realize how bad the genocide route is. "My child, what's wrong?" I feel like trash right now. Maybe I should call her...that. "M-mom!! I missed you so much!!!" Toriel blushes, "Mom?! C-child...I haven't been called that in so long...Come now, we don't want another monster hurting you." She takes my hand and pulls me through the ruins. This time I won't mess up.

I'm almost finished going through the ruins. I see the dead tree with red leaves all around it. Toriel should be arriving any time soon...There she is!!! "The pie is ready. Come now, before it gets cold." She rushes into the house. As I get closer to her house, I see something glittering in the red leaves. I realize this is a save point when I hear, "Seeing such a cute, tidy house in the ruins, gives you determination." I feel a warmth sweep over me. "File saved." Good. I run into the house, where Toriel greets me with a pleasant smile. "Come my child I need to ask you some questions."
I thought she was supposed to give me a room now, whats going on here?! Hesitantly, I walk into her living room. She's sitting in her chair with her glasses on. "Please come in dear." "Okay."
"Now tell me, what is your name child?" "Oh. I guess I never really introduced myself, I'm Y/N, it's nice to meet you mom!" She gives me a pained smile. "Nice to meet you Y/N, now tell me, what do you mean by 'I missed you so much'? Have we met once before? Why do you call me mom?" "I'm so sorry, but I don't have time to explain, just know I love you very deeply. Now, I need to get out of the ruins, quickly."
"But you just arrived, c-can't you stay a while longer?" I hear the pain in her voice. "I'm sorry mom, but I HAVE to get out of here. I have something very important to me that I need to go see." "...I have to do something, stay here." Oh no, not this again! I follow her down the stairs, into the hallway, and decide to let her say her usual dialogue.
"You wish to go outside the ruins, do you not?" Well, at least this is different. " Ahead of us is a door that leads to outside. It's a one-way exit to the underground. I'm going to destroy it. No one will ever be able to leave, ever again. Now be good and go back to the living room, I have a surprise I want to show you." Even though I know why she doesn't want to let me go, I have to go. I continue down the hallway and Toriel stops again. "Every human that falls down the hole meets the same fate. I have seen it a number of times. They come, leave, and die. Don't be foolish Y/N. If you leave here they, Asgore, will kill you. Please try to understand that I am only trying to protect you. A child as kind as you, especially one who calls me their mother, does not deserve to die. Please go back upstairs..."
It pains me to see her like this, but I'm more determined than ever to save them. "This is your final warning. Go upstairs, now." I continue running after her. "Why are you so intent on going? Your just like the others...Do you truly wish to go?" I simply nod my head. "Then prove to me you are strong enough to survive out there. " My soul flows out again, and options appear before me.' FIGHT. ACT. ITEM. MERCY.' I continuously choose mercy, dodging all the attacks sent my way, I'm not going to make the same mistakes. My health lowers to twelve. "I know you want to leave, but.." I select mercy. "I can take care of you..." I select mercy. "I promise we'll be happy together." I select mercy. "I'll care for you the best I can, so please lets go back. Together...........Heh...heh... I'm so pathetic. I can't save a single child..." "Mom. This is for the best. When this is all over I'll visit. Just please let me leave... I can't you tell how much this hurts...but this is something I need to do."
"Very well then...You can leave, but don't forget to call, okay? That way, I can know you are safe." "Of course! See you later..." " Goodbye Y/N, stay safe." "I will." She hugs me one more time and I take off.
As I go forward, I realize what's coming up next, Flowey. I go in and speed past him. "Sorry, no time to waste on you."
The doors creak shut and I feel the cold envelope me. Man, I wish I had a coat on before all this crazy stuff happened. I'm just walking around in my plain black shirt and my sweat pants. As I go down the long snowy road, I realize what's coming up next, I begin to slow down. I stop at the beginning of the wooden bridge. Those footsteps belong to him. Just remembering his death, I feel my sins crawling on my back, and the tears begin to flow. "H u m a n. D o n' t y o u k n o w h o w t o g r e e t a n e w p a l ? T u r n a r o u n d a n d s h a k e m y h a n d ." I turn around crying. Hopefully I don't make him feel bad, but just hearing his real voice make me want to cry.
And that's the end for now, and also HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!!(That is, when this story was published) How was it? I get really paranoid about the quality of my stories.
