Obi-Wan Kenobi turned back towards the Temple's door, towards his personal quarters. As he stepped back inside, through an elongated hallway, Kenobi was strictly silent. He fixated his eyes on the continuing hallway, and remembered what again he was doing. He directed his mind back to his own predicament; Kenobi was tasked with finding a rouge clone trooper, named Cut Lawquane. Cut was an ordinary soldier, who fought in many wars. However, on one disastrous mission, where each and every single brother that fought alongside Cut, was brutally murdered by separatist thugs. Cut desperately abandoned his fallen brothers, the Republic, and ran, now living a lowly life on an outlandish planet.

Ever since the incident on Ringo Vinda, where clone fugitives CT-5555 and CT-5385 attempted to assassinate high members of the republic, the Jedi order has been exacting any loose ends concerning clones. Captain Rex, a friendly companion of Obi-Wan, informed him on the whereabouts of Cut Lawquane, since Cut had been unaccustomed to his inoculation, being in seclusion from the republic army for years.  The incident concerning Kenobi's detection of Chancellor Palpatine's fallacy, performing an inoculation of "every" clone trooper puzzled him, forcing him to question both the integrity and motives of Palpatine.

Kenobi at last had reached his room. He lifted his arm to unlock the door, but before his moving fingers couch reach, Kenobi's com link began to buzz.
General Kenobi, a voice spoke, The Chancellor would like to see you.

"No. No. No, no no." Rex belabored those words again and again. "This can't be true," he thought, "this isn't true!"

Nala Se grinned a malicious grin, knowing exactly what Rex was experiencing.
"What's the matter?" She questioned, morphing her face with an artificial fear.

"You, and the chancellor." He shivered, "It's all true." Rex's eyes began to burn, as he tightly held back his tears, for the fear of seeming weak. He gazed deeply into the Doctor's eyes, examining her and her motives.

Nala Se saw this as an opportunity, an advantage over Rex's knowledge. She sought to play with the truth.
"You believe the chancellor is behind this all?" She rhetorically asked, smiling and staring back at Rex. "It does seem possible that the Chancellor could be the mastermind behind the creation of all clones, that he manipulated Sifo Dias to contact Kamino, to contact me." She moved towards the larger part of the ship, strategically pacing the floor, "And it does seem likely that he deliberately implanted genetic chips within their brains, to one day use them as unthinking droids, to destroy a multitude of people." Her head snapped towards Rex, and her eyes began to widen, focusing her deadly gaze at the captain, "and it most definitely does seem likely that he caused the death of your friend, CT-5555. After all, Fives knew something the Chancellor doesn't want anyone to know." Nala Se chuckled, quickly dismissing her unusual theory. "But of course," she said, "The chancellor is in league with the republic, a great companion of the Jedi, and sympathizes with their helpful army, undoubtably."

Rex's teeth gritted, and his left eye began to twitch in anger. "So" Se concluded, "this ridiculous theory of yours, this liberated idea of truth that you have, is obviously flawed."

The outraged Captain tightly clenched his fists, scrunched his nose and face in anger, as his fists began to rapidly shake, viciously.
"You're wrong," he said, "And I will prove it to you!"

Obi-Wan Kenobi agonizingly reached the Chancellor's office, speeding from the Jedi temple. He knocked on the door, twice. No answer. Kenobi tried again, but no one came. It was locked, jammed. Obi-Wan then ignited his blazing Lightsaber, and cut a gaping hole through the door, large enough for him to get through. Once Kenobi entered the room, the lights were shot out, and the desk was blasted to its side. The window, shattered, left a chilling breeze, sending shivers of fear down Kenobi's back. Suddenly, he noticed crusted residue of Lightsaber swings, embedded within the floor, and four of them. General Grievous.

At that moment, Kenobi awfully knew that the Chancellor was captured.
