One Night To Find It All

Chapter 4

The ground is shaking, everything is shaking! Derek and I are struggling to stay on our feet.. Soon after, the vibration just stops.. We both fell on our butts. Derek was trying to comfort me as if I was a baby.

-Hey! I ain't no baby, okay?? I can take a few hits..

-You do know you've got bumps all over your back right?- Said Derek with a obvious look.
-Yea, I know. I woke up with them.. You also got bumps..
-What a coincidence, so did I.-

Really now? So you telling me that I ain't the only one that woke up feeling like he/she was gonna die? Well, cool to hear. I wonder for how long has he been here..

-Really? Did you wake up somewhere dark, creepy, weird??
-Mhm, how'd you know?- Said Derek confused.
-I woke up in the same place. For how long have you been here?
-Few months-
-And you haven't found a way out?
-We're in Space. What'd you expect?-
-Nothing much..

We both stand up and started making our way to the bunker door. As I was walking, I noticed that Derek was going to another room. He soon came back with two bags. He tossed one at me and it had Jack in it. He ran next to me and he opened the door.

Door opens and all that is heard is silence... As we step outside the bunker, one of the windows in the bunker shatters! We soon start running as the Vacuum of Space races to get us. We run through a door that leads to a corridor. As soon as we pass it, Derek closed it. We both leaned against the wall trying to catch our breath.

I soon then start to get dizzy... Not sure why... I started loosing my stance.. Derek looked at me concerned and he rushed towards me.

-Hey, hey! Stay with me! It isn't safe! C'mon, noo!-

I am finding it hard to speak..... I start to see images, hear words... I begin to drift into nothingness..

Gaping holes.. They are everywhere... They appear in everyone's hearts at least once in their life.. "There has been an awakening.. Have you felt it?"

A weird voice.... It whispers into my ear: "Ir Yût, Zerûx, Pradeyth. They are alive.. The taker of Will is coming back with the Prince of Darkness. Asargath cannot be stopped."

I see..... Beings... Not bounded by laws of physics... They violate Space and Time... They travel through dimensions, maybe even entire universes.. All controlled by only one mind. Not bounded by Time... I have seen them... In Venus... The Vault... It lays there.... Atheon... He is sleeping.... I must obtain the Aegis...

Another voice whispers: "The Aegis is your deliverance. It will break the unbreakable. It will change your faith. Bind yourself to the shield. Bind yourself to me. And if you abandon your purpose, let the Vault consume you, as it consumed me."

Why are these voices in my head trying to tell me? Asagarth? The Aegis? Ir Yût? Deathsingers?

They don't make sense to me, and yet I can sorta know what they mean.. But I can't quite remember. Everything is blurry..
