Sup guys! My new Years resolution is to this book and two other finished (not ones that I have already started), so I am expecting this to go up to about 30 chaps, I'm not quite sure though! Enjoy! Happy New Year!!!!!
Marisa's P.O.V
I look up at the rulers and smile.
"Hello!" I greet and they smile.
"Hi!" Carol.
"Sup!" Dan.
"How's the trip?" Amell.
"Soooo... Shield?" Adeline.
"Oh yeah, angel, you need to do the shield!" Jake reminds and I nod, he stands up and pulls me closer to him. I giggle and kiss his check.
"Ok, everyone can you help?" I ask and they all look really confused. I was thinking about and I realised that if we all contributed in the shield it would be really strong and no one would be able to break through it anytime soon.
"Whaaaaaatttt?" Dan asks, I smile.
"Well, I figured that it would be even stronger if everyone contributed, because with Jake and I, even without like powers, you can still use your abilities to make the shield stronger." I say and Adeline nods.
"So, we would be using our normal powers, and somehow you and Jake can use yours to draw out the Dragons and Wolves powers?" She asks and I nod.
"Sort of, we can make them stronger and pull them into the shield. It's kinda cool!" I tell her and everyone nods, Jake still looks bewildered.
"Wait, we can do that?" He asks and I chuckle.
"Yes, we can!" I confirm and he smiles.
"We're so full of surprises!" He says and everyone laughs.
"Right guys, get your peeps, and lets begin!" I say and they all nod calling their 'peeps'. I howl and all the wolves instantly surround us, except Darren who has gone to find Carol.
"Right guys, I'm guessing you all just heard that conversation?" Jake asks and they all smile.
"Yes, we're full of surprises too alpha." One of the trackers says and we all crack up laughing, Jake turns to me and starts to blush.
"This is not how a pack should treat their alpha, you know!" He tells me and I laugh harder and take a step closer.
"But, this is how a mate should treat her mate." I say and kiss behind his ear and then trail kisses to the side of his mouth, he growls and I smirk and pull away.
"Arrrrggghhh, you can't do that!" He says and I smile.
"I thought I was supposed to do that, I thought you were the one that had to kiss my lips!" I say and he pouts.
"No, you can do it too!" He says and I chuckle and pull him to me, I'm glad he doesn't have to lean down to much, I like not being a lot shorter than him.
"Really." I whisper, he nods and I slowly press my lips against his and then pull him even closer and make the kiss more demanding. He responds by deepening the kiss and asking for entrance, I deny it and his chest rumbles with a growl, I giggle and he takes the chance to explore my mouth with his tongue. We pull away for ear and he brushes his thumb along my swollen lips.
"You're absolutely beautiful." He tells me and I blush and kiss him again, someone clears their throat and I turn to see all of the wolves staring at us.
"Oops! Sorry." I say and they all laugh and point in the other direction, we turn still in an embrace to see all the other species looking at us too.
