{Riley's POV}
We finally got off the subway, after being shoved... Alot.
"People really need to calm themselves down when getting out the subway. It's not fair to us small people" I giggled as we walked into school.
"You my friend... Are not small" Maya laughed. Aww shes so fucking adorable. Maya then looked at me awkwardly. Oh no....
"Say that again?" She said smirking, but blushing which made her that much cuter. But that's when it hit me. I called my best friend adorable infront of the whole 7th grade.
"Umm- Gotta go to class!" I yelled, taking off to my dad's class.

I quickly took my seat in history class, then putting my head on my desk.
"Stupid Riley, always saying things I shouldn't. I mumbled then heard footsteps. I picked my head up to see my Dad, followed by the whole class. Did they just hear that whole thing?
"Class, please take your seats" Mr Matthews said while writing on the calk board.
"Riley... I'm sorry about that- umm 'scene' in the hall" Maya said softly. I looked at her then back at the floor.
"I'd rather not talk about it...." I reasoned quietly. Then I looked at the board, which I instantly regret.
Sexual Orientation
I looked over to Maya who looked absolutely terrified, as I did too.
"Sexual orientation, some of you say you know what they all mean, but do you really? Can anyone tell me the basic definition of sexual orientation?" My father started.
{Maya's POV}
No, oh no. I felt my palms getting sweaty. This class won't end well. Riley raised her hand
"Riley?" Mr. Matthews stated.
"Sexual orientation is a person's sexual identity. Basically, the gender and or sex a person is attracted to" Riley responded.
"Good, Riley. Now there are multiple sexual orientations. Can someone think of on and define it?" He asked the class. I nervously rose my hand, knowing that he'd probably pick me.
"Miss Hart?" Shit....
"Well, bisexuality is the attraction towards both males and females." I said, a bit shakey.
"Very well, Maya. Now I'll cover some others" He smiled.
"What about possibly being gay?" Farkle questioned. Is he- He can't be. But mabey....
"Interesting for you to ask Farkle. Gay is mostly used as males, being attracted to males. Truly, it refers to females as well. Thats the basic sexualities, but you can look into others if you'd like. I'd like you all to take out loose leaf and write about what sexuality you are or may be and why." Mr. Matthews said sitting at his desk. Then I began writing a lot of things down.
