{Maya's POV}
We got to Riley's house and sat at her bay window. Something wasn't right, she looked upset.
"Riley. What's wrong honey?" I asked concerned. Riley simply hugged me, while shaking.
"Im scared Maya.... What if Lucas comes after me again?" She asked. I gently stroked her beautiful brown hair.
"He won't, I won't let him hurt you" I said softly. Riley looked at me, but didn't let go of me.
"You don't have to do that for me Maya..." She said quietly. I then gently kissed Riley on the forehead.
"But I want to Princess" I replied.
"I know you do Maya, but I don't want him to hurt you"
"But I don't want him to hurt you either" I said truthfully.
"Peaches?"
"Yes Princess?
"I'm tired...."
"Good night Riles" I said softly, while pushing a strand of hair out of her face. Riley had stopped shaking and laid down. I laid down next to the beautiful brunette and wrapped my arm her. She then held onto my hand that was now wrapped around her.
"Good night Maya"
