I am really, really, really, really, really, really, really sorry for taking forever.

Zayden's P.O.V

"Find her leave no stone in this kingdom unturned, and find anyone that looks suspicious and bring them to the interrogation room, GO!" How could he have gotten to her I quickly began trying to trace her scent maybe she was still in the kingdom. I was going to tear him to pieces when I got ahold of that devil he is going to pay for taking her. Her scent was gone I needed to hurry and find her, I ran back to the castle in wolf form because it was faster. I arrived at the back gate where I was meet by my Beta and other guards. "Alpha we found this, attached to a dead raven."

I quickly took the note from my Beta

Hello poor Alpha, it seems your little mate is of great use to me it's a shame you had to encounter this perfect weapon, this would have never happened if you could have just kept your little snout out of  my affairs. I'm going to have a joyous time breaking Artemis, it's just so much fun seeing the painful expressions on her face. Enjoy the world while it's still peaceful.

I couldn't contain the pure rage I felt, I was going to torture him until he begged for mercy. Sir we also found a suspicious person chanting incantations a mile from the meadow they are in the interrogation room now we are awaiting your command."  I felt my eyes blaze, and my wolf pushing out, I have to try an get calm or I won't get any information. "Get me my clothes, and my pure silver dagger, I'm going to find out where she is."

Artemis' P.O.V

"Hssssss" The pain was starting to get worse since I couldn't heal as quickly and became weakened by these retched chains. The sneering female continued to dig the red hot iron into my back. I could smell the burned fabric and flesh but I refused to give these demons the satisfaction of hearing my pain. "Oh come now you have to be screaming in agony, or it isn't much fun, maybe I should reduce your pain tolerance more." The voice I have come to truly hate stepped into the fire light, the twisted smile clear on his pale sunken face. "I have a better idea, Leena, enough."  I glared into his coal black eyes with all the hate and energy I could. He opened his balm and the dark mist poured out blocking my vision once again, it began to play scene I tried to forget but haunted every dream I had since it happened.

I was just about to blow out the candles at the table, when the front window crashed and shattered, my mother grabbed me holding me close, and my father put both of us behind his back. I saw soothing black slither across the floor my father told my mother to take me and run. Before I could understand what was going on my mother scooped me up and ran. If I had known it was going to be the last time I saw my father alive I would have told him how much I loved him, he and my mother. we were racing through the woods when we heard another crash from the house. My mother set me down telling me to run to the pack house and not look back, she kissed me on my head and told me she loved me. I remember barely being able to see her through the tears. The smoke showed what happened in the house The slithering form spiraled and transformed into the man I despised most, the same maniacal smile plastered on his face. "It's a shame you stayed to fight when the creature I sent is chasing your beloved wife and daughter as we speak."  My father rushed to turn around and was almost out of the door when the smoke formed a dagger and pierced him straight through his heart. "Not so fast, can't have you interfering now can we." My fathers body fell lifeless to the ground, his eyes were closed as blood poured out of his wound. The smoke then changed scenes my mother was running by herself through the woods, it was when she was going back to help my father. She heard the rustling of bushes, and took a defensive stance. My father walked out of the shadows, no it wasn't my father, my father had silver eyes, not red, I tried to shout at my mother to run but she couldn't hear me. The imposter embraced my mother, I saw in the moonlight the same glint of the black dagger created by the smoke. The imposter raised it and plunged it into my mothers back and through her heart. She crumbled to the ground in almost the same position my father was in. He walked out of the shadows, with the same smile still on his face, with the wave of his hand the imposter turned into a dark mist.

The smoke cleared and I was once again faced with the murderer of my parents.

"Do you know why you're in this situation dear, sweet Artemis." I only continued with my stare not giving him the satisfactory of any other emotion.

"Really, no reaction, well I'm going to tell you anyway because I know the excruciating pain it's going to cause you. You see my dear, Once in a millennia a white wolf is born with the power the moon goddess, as well as the period at which the gates of Hell can be opened, but only by the white wolf. She is able to control the wicked and the titans which are contained there. Once the gates are opened, they can never be closed, and she will be the most powerful creature in the universe. That's not the best part the only way she can open the gates is of her own free will. However I believe with a little persuasion which involves your heroic mates death, and your broken spirit, you'll easily fall into my control. Oh and before you ask why I didn't just manipulate you into opening the gates like I did your memory, it's simple it's more fun for me because that means I get to watch him writhe in agony as I take his life before your eyes."  I felt a burning sensation of hate as it consumed me and I struggled to break the chains. "You'll never harm him, besides he doesn't even know our location you said it yourself." He smirked at my struggling form before he laughed. "Oh but he has in fact he's already here." The smoke consumed him and he was gone.
