BEEP BEEP BEEP.

What the hell... I think to myself.

BEEP BEEP BEEP.

Why, why did I invest in that stupid alarm clock.

BEEPBEEPBEEPBEEP.

OH GOD IT'S GETTING WORSE. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP. I think whilst somewhat flailing about in my bed and cozy lama-jamas.

"That's right. I have lama-jamas. You jelly?" I say aloud, to no one in particular.

KNOCK KNOCK.

Oh god not that fucking alarm clock again. I am about ready to throw that stupid thing out of the window.

"Melony, dear, are you okay?" I hear my father say from outside my room.

"Uh, yeah?" I reply.

"Okay just making sure. Your mother and I are heading to work so just call us if you need anything."

"Okay dad, I will most definitely contact you if there is any need for parental guidance."

"Melony, there's no need for sarcasm."

"But as Nana always says, 'You can never have too much sass'."

"Don't quote my mother, Melony. It just makes things weird."

"Fine dad, be that way."

"Melony, when you say things like that it makes me feel like-"

"NO. DON'T START WITH THE I FEEL STATEMENTS." I say as I throw my alarm clock against the door. That's what I call, killing two birds with one alarm clock.

BEEPBEEPBEEPBEEP.

DAMMIT.
