I don't know where I am. I mean, I do but I don't. I'm sitting in a metal chair with straps around my arms, legs, torso and across my forehead that keep me constrained to the chair. Kinky, am I right? The room itself seems to be made entirely of one type of metal, with the walls, floors, and ceiling being completely smooth as far as I can see. Which begs one question: where the hell is the light coming from?

After what seems like hours of struggling to get out of my constraints and looking for an escape route, I hear the sound of metal scraping against metal coming from behind me. I realise it must mean that someone is coming into the room from a door behind me. Slowly, I begin to see formless shadows crawl around the room, squirming up and down the walls and across the floors and ceilings. Soon, the shadows begin to swallow whatever the source of light is, plunging me into darkness. Which makes me want to piss myself because I'm scared of the dark. I begin to try and get out of my constraints, but to no avail.

"Be still child," I hear a raspy voice say. The sound seems to come from all around me, as if it is emanating from the shadows themselves, which fills me with a new level of determination to try and escape.

"Struggling will only make the pain worse," the voice says again. Suddenly, a pair of bright red eyes appear directly in front of me.

"Gah!" I scream, shocked by the sudden appearance of two red orbs in front of my face.

"Pffft. Stupid children, always so easily surprised," a second, female voice says at the same time that a pair of blue eyes appeared right next to the red ones.

"Who the hell are you, and what do you want with me?!" I say to the eyes.

"What do we want? Your powers child! What else would we want?"

"Powers? What powers?" I ask.

"Ignorant child. You know nothing of what you are. Well, I guess it's better for you to die that way. Shall we begin?" The red eyes say, as I feel a sharp pain in my abdomen.

"Stop! Please! You're hurting me!" I yell.

"Don't worry it should be over soon." The blue eyes say as pain begins in my arms as well.

"Leave me alone!" I shout, and as the words leave my mouth, a glaring light begins to emanate from my hands and engulfs the room.

And
        Time
                  Stands
                               Still.
