Chapter 4: New friends

Jasmine's POV:
I woke up as usual and changed into my uniform. Then I started walking to school. A few moments later I finally got to school. I walked up to my locker and got my stuff for first period , algebra. I walked to class and walk towards my original seat. There I see Lucas sitting next to my seat. Then I sat quickly and quietly. I don't like people looking at me because then they start judging me.
"Hey , Jas ." I hear a voice next to me
I turn the other direction the voice came from. Then I thought about the dream. I was thinking about tell him but later at the end of the day. Suddenly the teacher walks in starting class. Thank God! I was saved for once .
...Time Skip...
It's almost the end of the day. Right now is my lunch period. Once again I make my way to the library like I did on the first day.
"Hey Jasmine! Wait up!"
I turn around to see Lucas running towards me.
"Let's go to lunch together."
He then grabs my hand and takes me towards the cafeteria.
"N-n-no! I can't go there. They'll do the same they did last time!" My voice it quivered in fear . I'm scared the same thing will happen like last time a few years back.
...Flashback...
I was in the cafeteria, eating my lunch.
Eva walked up with a group of kids that pick on me with her.
"Awe. All alone little bitch?"
I express no emotion. Trying to so hard not to pay attention and kept eating. Suddenly she grabs my tray and flips it over. Food lands all over me messing up my uniform. Everyone else laughs at what she did.
"Never come into this cafeteria , you don't deserve to be here , your pathetic , stupid and useless."
I got my things and ran . I ran out of school . I didn't care what anyone said as I walked out. A few moments later I got home and cried. I cried and cried for what she had done. Nothing has happened like that to me until now.

"Lucas I can't go , I just can't." My voice cracked
"Come on you'll be with me and my friends. Well our friends now." He said in a soft soothing voice.
I nodded as in a agreement. He let go of my hand I walked behind him , following him. I wanted to run but I couldn't disappoint him. As I entered the cafeteria , I noticed Eva. She saw me with Lucas. Oh no . Then Lucas sat at a table and told me to join him. I sat next to him and a group of friends.
"Guys this is our new friend ." Lucas said while looking at me and smiling.
"Hi I'm Rebecca but you can call me Ruby." A girl with black hair wearing the same uniform as me smiled at me.
"Hello I'm Ayato." He is a boy with emerald eyes and he waved at me.
"Hi I'm Lea." A girl wearing a beanie , she looks like a tomboy , she is really pretty.
"Hey I'm Gabriel." A boy with blonde hair said to me.
"Hi! I am Jade nice to meet you!" Wow she sure does have energy. I wish I had that , but I'm too scared to show that anyways.
"And I'm William but you can call me Will."
"H-hi I'm Jasmine." I stutter .
Then suddenly I see Eva. She is coming our way , I'm in trouble.  I look down to my shoes so she wouldn't  notice me.
"Jas , what's wrong?" Lucas asks me
"Uh nothing." I say still looking down to my shoes.
"Well well... If it isn't you the little pathetic bitch." I knew it was Eva. Then she grab onto my shirt and pulled me up close.
"I told you to never come back , and to stay away from Lucas."
"EVA! That's enough! Leave her alone."
Lucas yelled at her. Why he is standing up for me. Then Eva pushes me to the ground and let's go of my shirt.
"Look Lucas I'm leaving you keep hanging out with that stupid geek , until you learn your lesson come back and ask me out again."
"Eva I'm the one leaving you , I don't like you and I never want you back!"
Eva and her group walk away. Jade and Lea help me up.
"T-thank you Lucas." I look up and move my bangs from my eyes behind my ear.
....Time skip....
It was finally the end of the day. I started to walk home . Then I got a text , it's from Lucas.
"Hey Jas , I hope you had a great day and new friends. 😊"
I smiled , I never really had friends before. Everyone picked on me as a little girl.

I was always alone. Just because I liked other things. Girls played with barbies.  I liked comic books and video games. Boys thought I was weird. Girls pushed me around. They said that I shouldn't ld be here. They use to call me a lesbian. Which I really didn't care. But everyone picked on me . Teachers really didn't care what was going on. They never did anything about. So I had to deal with it everyday during school.

But I'm happy now that I have new friends actually. Well life is going better now with Lucas and them.
