"Where the hell have you been?  Why didn't you even tell me where you were going?" Louie asked Tori after he finally managed to force himself to pull away from her.  Now that he knew she was safe, he wasn't able to take the irritation out of his voice.  His hands were still on either side of her face.

Tori's eyes widened and her nose flared, she would never put up with that tone.  She removed his hands from her face non too gently.

He admitted to himself that he overreacted. When he found out it would take longer than he expected to fix the coffee machine he tried calling Tori.  She didn't pick up.  He figured she must be busy painting, so even after he was done with the machine he decided to check the inventory of his auto supplies shop instead of heading back to Tori's right away.

But when he called again after a few hours and she still wasn't picking up he got worried. He even called Alexa to check if she was with her.  His worry escalated to panic when he went to her unit and there was still no response from her.

No one could blame him for reacting that way.  The last time he got worried over not being able to know her whereabouts,  he actually had a reason to.

During one Friday away conference game, he wondered why she didn't show up and he couldn't reach her cell.

Someone tampered with her tire before she left the school.  To make things worse she had made a wrong turn and ended up getting stuck in a dark road trying to change the tire by herself. The battery of her phone was even drained.  It was already past 12AM when he found her.

She turned her back on him and inserted her key in the lock.

"I went out for a run."

He followed her inside the unit, as soon as he closed the door she whirled around to face him. She planted her hands on her hips, the movement inadvertently caused his eyes to stray on her gifted chest. Her wet top clung to her breasts and outlined their hardened tips.

"Oh I'm sorry, was I supposed to ask your premission first?"

He wasn't able to reply to her question  fast enough because of his preoccupation, Tori snapped her fingers a few millimeters away from his face.

"Unbelievable!" She said, sounding more irritated than she was before.  She crossed her arms over her chest and glared at him.

"You spared three seconds to pay attention to what I was saying but gave my breasts a full minute!"

"I'm sorry." He said looking contrite.

"Sorry for what? For not paying attention? Or for getting caught staring at my breasts?"

His lips curled upward in a smile.

"For getting caught," he teased but sobered immediately when he saw she wasn't smiling.

"I'm sorry for using that tone on you, and I know how you hated that. It's just that I was so worried when I couldn't reach you." He said while trying to wrap her in an embrace.

She stepped back and continued looking at him with an icy stare.

"Don't be mad."  He said in a pleading tone matched with an expression on his face that reminded her of Puss in the movie Shrek.  He saw saw her lips quiver, she was trying so hard not to smile.

He grabbed her by the waist and tried to kiss her, she turned her head sideways so that his lips landed on her jaw instead.

That didn't deter him, his lips continued moving down the column of her neck. Her hands which she placed on his shoulders  to push him away somehow ended up on either side of his head, her fingers tangling with his hair.
