" ...maybe sometimes it's riskier not to take a risk. Sometimes all you're guaranteeing is that things will stay the same." - Danny Wallace

||Prologue||

Truth be told, a part of me was relieved that I finally got to move, but the other part of me was incredibly frustrated. I guess the package has its pros and cons.

The pros was that I finally get to leave my past, start a new life. And it was also good that nobody would know me and won't judge me by my past.

And leaving my friends were the cons. Deal with it, my inner self screamed.

Being invisible is a goal that I would love to achieve after moving to this unaccustomed town. Especially when you have no relatives or friends here. Becoming the queen bee and her posse's target was not in my bucket list, it never was.

Other than that, a few things that are definitely not on my bucket list are:

-Be the center of attention in high school, and college too ( that's if I could get that far )

-Getting known by the bad boy

-Dating in high school ( after the experience I had, no thanks. Dating? I'll pass)

-Getting detention (Don't wanna get kicked out anytime soon)

There's many more, and by that, I meant never ending. Well, that's enough for now. Maybe I'll talk more about my bucket list next time.

Sadly, I failed terribly.

Be the center of attention? It's hard not to be when you're the new girl in school. The moment I walked in, everyone's eyes were fixed at me.

Getting known by the bad boy? When you bump into the infamous bad boy and expect him not to notice you, maybe... but that's in your dreams.

Dating in high school? I'm still single...I think?

Getting detention? Who knew I would get one?

After bumping into the biggest player of Herrington High, my life changed.

And maybe, for once, it was a good thing.

What I believe was that, everyone have a good side. It's just hidden behind the bad one, but there's definitely a good side. Changing the arrogant bad boy would surely be hard, but it's worth a try, right?

"You think your life is a fairytale, with fluffy unicorns and cotton candy? You think you will be the one that change me like you've read in stories? You think I will finally give up my player ways and settle down with you? " He challenged me. What he said made sense, my life isn't a fairytale.

But...

Take the risk or lose the chance...

"I'll try."

So, how was the first/second day of school? ( It's after midnight now. I had to deal with shit ) Maybe it's not yours, but it's mine. If it's yours, good luck dealing with strangers/juniors.

And when school reopens, I would start to get lots of work. But, I promise I will update as frequently as possible.

And guyysss, it's decided. TBBIFF is officially starting on the 1st of February. There's still more that three weeks to February so I will try to write as many chapters as possible in advance. Please support TBBIFF by sharing to your friends.

Please read all the author's note at the end of the story. I will try not to post long ones so you won't get bored. To be honest, I hate long author's note. Thank you.
