Chapter 15

ANNA CARTER POV

Jeff was right , the restroom we are standing at is a portal to the real world.

'Oh Jeff! Freedom alas!'

But she came in a swift and watched us fervently. I would have fainted if I was alone. But with Jeff next to me I felt stronger. I was ready to die . She was translucent. But her pendant wasn't. The sapphire of the pendant embossed in gold shone with that attractive glint of light. I wondered why but it seemed tangible and anything tangible is real.

'Your witty and so am I Anna..... I knew that you would end up here . You see I wanted to give you the worst death ever. I was killed, but my hope wasn't . I knew that this day would come where Charles would grieve if ever he was in the heavens above. Killing Tim was my only mission and I want to give Tim the taste of revenge when he gets to see his blue eyed agents dying. Your death will only be the beginning. I will then kill all the CISS agents and taste the fruits of my avenge. The pendant is the only source of linking myself and the real world. It teleports because it is the only gift that I have from my husband. This pendant links the past and the future. It belonged to Antonio's ancestors. Well now I am going to kill you.'

Wow! What a sweet ending of her long speech.

'Jeff, this was why we were brought here in the first place. This is the Rosetta pendant of the-'

'Trojan.' he completed.

We need to have that pendant.

'Who's first?', the white ghost asked.

The ghost was too occupied into killing Jeff first and she went towards him and in the meanwhile I snatched her pendant which she didn't observe. The ghost roared... as she left Jeff and turned towards me with her weary eyes. She vanished with a flash of white light.

The world shifted before our eyes and came to a halt to give us a minute to realize that we are in a men's restroom of a restaurant.

'Jeff! Anna!', a familiar voice shouted from the doorway, and it was Amanda.

We both left a sigh of relief.
