"Jasser! God, you scared me.."
He broke into laughter. It was so contagious. I started to laugh too.
You would not say that he is very handsome or that his features were perfect.But there was one thing about him that could win affection of a woman or girl . He was emitting so much light and warmth. And I still elaborately remember everything about the first time I met him. It hit me like a ray of sun. He just came up to me and started asking questions and I did not have a choice not to answer them. Since then we've become very good friends.
"What are you looking at? Trying to find sense of your existence?"
My eyes were fixed upon him.
"Very funny."
"Are you still up for.." Immediately, I broke off my glance off the sky and
interrupted him. "I am up for everything!Let's go."
So we were walking down the street , enjoying the atmosphere. People, kiosks, buildings..Everything is shiny, bright, eye-catching.
We went to café Central and spent great time there. As we walked together after dinner, Jasser asked me if I were still planning to move to Spain.
"Do you still want to leave me?"
I laughed.
"Jasser,I am not leaving you. You have Lea, I am pretty sure she is going to take a good care of you."
I winked.
"Lea.. If she'll ever notice me! God , I am trying so hard. I will be the luckiest guy if she'll ever say yes to me inviting her on a date."
"Listen. You'll be fine. Seriously. I know her and she really likes you.You just have to give her some time. I mean it has not been a while since she caught Ben cheating on her. It is not that easy to move on"
"Yes.You are right."
