"Oh crap." I said, a little too loudly I think because Sally shot me a dirty look.

"You can call me Miss Wells."

This is going to be a long year.
I obviously didn't contribute throughout the lesson and I was just about to bolt through the door when I heard the bell but Sal- I mean Miss Wells took it upon herself to call me

"Jacky, can I see you for a moment?" Asked Sally
I don't think Miss Wells is something I'm gonna get used to. So I'm gonna avoid wasting more brain power and stop trying.

"Sure." I reply casually.
"I understand that you don't seem to like me but that doesn't mean you shouldn't participate in class." says Sally.
"Well, what if I tell you that I don't regularly participate in class." I reply.
Ok so that's a lie. I'm a straight A student and I always answer questions in class but Sally doesn't need to know that.

"Oh come on." says Sally. "You're sitting on the TPS." I shoot Sally a confused look and she smiles
"Hey, I know some acronyms here. So sue me."

Research like that on the first day? Me like.

"So, are you gonna tell me why you don't like me or nah?" asks Sally.

"Honestly, it's not you I don't like, it's Charles." I say. I can't help but notice that Sallys facial expression changes a bit when I say this but it goes back to normal fast.

"Speaking of Charles, can you tell him to meet me at Carl's Café by 7?" Asks Sally.

"I really need to discuss some work business with him. I may not be in the same company with him but it doesn't mean I don't care. Especially since I need to know how my sisters doing there."

"Sure." I reply.
"Ok so I need to ask you this since we got off on the wrong foot anyway and I want you to actually participate in this class: would you like to be friends?" Says Sally.

"Sure." I reply with a smile.

"Hello?" I say as I pick up my phone since its ringing and disturbing my peaceful evening even though it's really cold for some reason.

"Jacky!" Says Sam.
"I just saw a rare sight!"

"Oh my gosh, what is it?" I ask,  excited.

"It's a poster of The Weeknd you actually don't have." She replies while laughing.

You know how some people collect stamps?  Well I collect posters of The Weeknd. Which is probably due to the fact that I absolutely ADORE him.

"Put it on hold!" I scream.
"I'll be right there. Wait, where exactly are you?"

"At the convinience store next to Carl's Café." Replies Sam.

~~~¤~~~
I was there in less than five minutes due to the fact that I stole Dylan's car keys. Sam already bought the poster for me so I decided to pay her back by getting her the brownies she absolutely LOVES at Carl's Café.
I bought lots of brownies for us to share and I bought us each some hot chocolate. After all, it was a cold evening.
After we got the brownies and got chocolate we sat at a tables with the seats opposite each other.
I couldn't help but notice that Charles and Sally were at the Café too.
I was happy to see that Sally was smiling because that meant that her sister was doing great in the company.
Anyways so we're down to the last brownie and I grabbed it (noticeably) before Sam but she seemed to disagree. I was all set to ask to see the security footage when Sam suggested that we share. We broke the brownie into two and I threw mine into my mouth and almost choked on it.
Why?
Because I saw it.
A terrible sight.
Charles and Sally were kissing.
And I couldn't un-see it.
I couldn't help but to have a burning question in me:
Who exactly is Sally?
I trusted her.
I agreed to be her friend.
And she does this.
I felt betrayed.
And I wanted answers.
Good news; I remembered where I've seen the facial expression Charles had when he was talking to her yesterday.
Bad news; It's the same one he has when he's with mom.
I'm so sorry this chapter is short... I'll try and make the next one longer.
