Daniel (at the top)
I woke up to the morning sun beaming through my window and the smell of bacon.
Ahh there is nothing better than the smell of bacon on a Sunday morning.
I get out of bed and head to the bathroom to do my morning duties and get dressed for church.
I love going to church and hearing all of the songs and hymns the choir or worship leader sings.
During my spare time I love to sing. I sing in the shower and when I'm stressed. I also write songs.
After getting dressed, I walk down stairs to see my mom cooking breakfast. I love my mom, she is always cooking for us, even though I know how to cook, she doesn't let me help her unless it is during the holidays.
"Good morning mom, where's Dad?"
"Good morning sweetie, he is still getting ready. If you want you can eat while I check on your father."
"Okay."
I take my plate from my mom's hands, say a prayer and begin eating my food.
After 5 minutes of my mom being gone, they finally come down stairs giggling and chuckling.
My Dad sits next to me and kisses my forehead.
"Good morning Arielle."
"Good morning Dad, what took you so long to get dress?"
"I couldn't find my other sock, so your mom helped me find that sock."
"Hmm, okay."
My parents are always awkward when it comes to talking about you know what.
After we finished our breakfast, we decided to leave so we wouldn't be late like we were last Sunday.
We make it to church and right now the choir is singing, It is well by Kristene Dimarco.
This is one of my favorite worship songs I love to sing when I need help from God.
Which is everyday.
When the choir sat down, it was time for the pastor to preach his word.
"Today saints, we well be teaching on love. The Lord wants us to learn how to love neighbors, ourselves, our husbands and wives, and for those who are waiting on the Lord to bless you with your soul mates. Our future husbands and wives. Now go with me to the book of Mathew the 22nd chapter and 39th verse."
As the pastor was preaching on love, I couldn't help but think about Daniel.
The first time we looked into each others eyes, it felt as if our souls were connected. It felt as if I've known him my whole life.
"I wonder if I'll run into him today."
My cheeks warmed at the thought of seeing him again.
After the sermon we held offering. Then the pastor said a dismissal prayer.
Now my parents are talking to some of their good friends that go to our church, while I stand here awkwardly.
My parents finally decide its time to go. Before I could walk out the door, I can hear someone calling my name.
"Arielle, Arielle wait!!"
I turn around and see the pastor's daughter walking toward me.
"Hey Brianna, how are you?"
Brianna is a year older than me. We never really talked, but when we do the conversations are always friendly.
"I'm fine, thanks for asking. I stopped you to invite you to the youth group party. Here is the invitation and all the info you need is on it. Oh, and it starts tonight at eight'o clock. See you there."
