"Miladys you should be getting ready for the party tonight!" Luca, our ever present attendant, insisted for the umpteenth time.
Felicitá turned and snapped at him. "We will go when we finish our rounds."
"But Milady..."
I spun around on the heel of my boot, hands on my hips. "Put a sock in it Luca!"
With that Fel and I strode off, followed by the rest of our silent team. Luca stood there in the middle of the sidewalk, his mouth agape.
Unfortunately this wasn't destined to be the only quirk in today's patrol.
Fel and I perked up at the sound of screeching tires. Out of habit I lowered myself into a fighting stance alongside the rest of the team. A green car peeled around the street corner. The passengers all appeared to be men in suits, armed with guns. Even more surprising was when Libertá's amused voice rang out from above.
"Found you!"
We glance up in time to see Libertá jump from a store rooftop onto the hood of the speeding vehicle.
What in the world does he think he's doing?
"Idiot..." Nova stepped out from a nearby alley, muttering and glaring at the older blond boy.
"Nova!" Fel called out, gaining the boys attention.
"Felicitá, Cettina." Nova nodded at us in acknowledgement and we silently nodded back.
"Libertá, don't move!" The silver haired Debito's voice drew our attention back to the matter at hand. The head of Coin stood unfazed in the middle of the cobblestone street, handguns drawn and aimed at the car. Shots rang out and the number of men in the car fell to one- the driver.
His aim is as impressive as ever.
Dante stepped up next, shouting for Libertá to jump. The blond boy turned to see Dante and his eyes widened as he bailed from the hood of the car. Bald man Dante pulled the trigger of his rocket launcher as our family member jumped. The car soon erupted into flames and flying bits of metal. To everyone's relief Pace had arrived and caught Libertá as he escaped from the wreckage.
Now it was our turn. Luca, Fel, Nova and I sprang into action chasing down the driver. He tried to lose us in the crowd of bystanders but Luca circled around and cut him off. Fel and I came in on either side while Nova blocked his exit. Our target seemed to weigh his options. For a moment it seemed as if he would surrender and make our lives easier. Instead he rushed straight at Fel, most likely deeming her the weakest link. Before I could ready a knife to throw Nova had already drawn his sword and promptly sliced the driver's suit to shreds. Not one of Nova's strikes touched the skin.
"I surrender..." The man fell to his knees. Bystanders cheered and I quickly slipped my knives back into their holders on my leg as Nova sheathed his sword.
"Well that settles it." Dante came up beside Fel and I, pride resonating in his gruff voice.
"Dante, what are we going to do about the car?" Fel asks, looking towards the mess of car and fire behind us. Nova groans and promptly face palms. I groan as well, how were we supposed to clean that up before the party?
Much to my delight our team said that they would take care of the car and the driver while the others took care of the remaining suspects.
With that Fel and I started on our way back to the mansion, much to Luca's delight.

"Milady, you can't go to the party like that!" One of Fel's maids protested. She clutched a red dress that she had hoped Fel would wear.
