Where Love is, Lies Are!!

Chapter 2

Emma still laid in bed asleep. With her sheet scattered around and her head hidden under her pillows.

"Beep!"

That was the first warning her alarm gave her to get up and to start her day. But this only made her snuggle closer into her pillows.

"Beeeeeeeeeepp!!"

"Ahhh!!"

Emma says out loud in annoyance as she rises from her bed slowly. No one wanted to wake up this early. With realization Emma rolled right off her bed and on to the floor of her
bedroom.

"Emma!!?! Get up now!" Said her mother as the woman pounds her fist against the room door.

"wonderful way to wake your child mother" she says softly in a sarcastic tone.

"I'm up!!" yay! School. She thought again. With her tired body Emma got up went to the bathroom and look in the glass...oh god she looks

TERRIBLE!!

Emma's red hair looks like someone just used glue and pasted it up in all different directions.

Well, what can she say, Emma was dealing with a monster in her dream again....at least that's what she convinced herself and her mom whenever she wakes in the mornings. Emma shrugs and washes her face and got in the shower. Emma took a really long hot baths.
Why? because a hundreds percent of the time she actually woke 5:00 in the morning. Her taking long baths was always what she needed to start her day.

After turning off the shower Emma stepped out and took her fluffy lime green towel, dried herself off then took out her hair brush and brushed wet and long hair for it to dry. She sighs Emma once again needed a haircut. After all the struggle and tassel with her hair she finally placed it in a nice hair bun.

She thought with a small smile. Emma looked through

then took up some of my reading books g went in the kitchen... G let's get this very clear I don't live in an upstairs house or downstairs .......my house is flat and warm and cozy.

" Oh honey you look-" I cut her off before she said anything else.

" like a nerd ....I know"

"Okay, first of all, you look beautiful, second, of course, you do look like a nerd, you're dressed like one, aren't you?.....sit, eat and then leave for school ok?"

"Yes... Mother" I said rolling my eyes annoyed at her statement, so my mom she looks smexy like me but I look nothing like her tho, I love her so much she is the best.

While eating my egg sandwich I heard my mom calling.

"Honey remember to put your letters in the mail while leaving ...ok!!!!?!!"

"Shit! I forgot those .....dammit, where did I pu- "

"You placed them on the coffee table and watch your language young lady"....my eyes widen .....ok I need to stop talking out my mind....

"Sorry.....,..mommy?"
"Oh I hope that worked"

" no, it didn't!" Dammit....i hurry up and ate my food and went to the living room, grabbed my letter applications for colleges and went straight through the door, but not before yelling

"Love you" I did not wait to hear her say it back. I dropped my letters in the mailbox and off to the hell hole they call a school.

15 minutes later

After my walk to school, I was finally here. So, my friends, I can't wait to see them, right after school that is. Ok, so my friends Keisha and Zoey don't come to my school ... Let's just say they don't go to school, there what you call young adults.
