Emma's (P. O. V)

"So you like Logan? " Nik said while trying to hold back his laugh, but that didn't work. I glared at him, then sigh heavily.

I can't believe I have a crush on that asshole.

Damn.

When I thought things where finally get better this happens, I turn and lay on my back, and stare at the sky. We're at the park, we came here right after I finish speaking with Logan.

Nikky was still laughing at me. But then calmed down when he saw me rolling my eyes at him.

"It's not that funny you jerk!! And besides, it's just a crush."
I said while getting up and brushing off my clothes.

He got himself together.

"Ok, ok, sorry I laughed, but seriously. I left you with a hot guy for a couple hours and fall In love with the guy, damn" he said with both hands on his hips. I frown and snicker at him.

"Oh please, you ran left me to chase that dick Daniel Cohen," I said while glaring at him really hard.

He shakes his head and picked up his bag off the ground.

"He's not a dick, even though I would like to s-".

"Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! I can't hear you!! "..he smirked at me then continue to speak even louder.... Urrggghhh!!

" Would you stop, abusing my ears about your sex life already, jeez, I think my ears are gonna turn whores soon. " he started laughing. Again.

"Oh yeah sure, a whore for Logan "...he was now holding his tummy and laughing like a madman. People in the park started to look at us like we're two crack heads ... .GREAT!!.

I bent down and took up a stick and throw it at his head, that worked just fine.

"Ow!!.. WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT FOR!?!! "he screamed at me while rubbing the side of his head and pouting, I was now laughing my ass off. His reaction was too much.

Plus another stick flu and hit him again. I stopped laughing and saw that it was an old laugh that throws it this time.

"YOU LITTLE BRATS HAVE NO MANNERS AT ALL !! SWEARING AND ALL AROUND THESE BABIES, YOU LITTLE SH- ..SHAKE HEADS!!! GET OUT!! " she was practically screaming head little head off. Oh gosh, we started running for our lives.

As we reached the other block, which is far away from the park.

I replayed what just happened In my head and started laughing again while Nik was swearing under his breath like hell, and still rubbing his head.

"I swear old ladies hate me "

"Awe poor baby" I laughed some more.

"We can't tell her, at least not yet, not until we have some good news on this, it'll crush her" I just got back at Zoey's house, and I was about to enter the kitchen but then I heard Zoey said this.

"I know that, but come on, it's unfair to her, we kept this away from her so long, I mean she'll-" Keisha said but was cut off by Zoey.
I placed my bag the staircase and sat on the first step.

I placed a piece of my hair behind my ear and lean a little to hear what they were saying.

Besides I wonder who they're talking about?
"Hate us? " Zoey said, it was more like a question though, like she wasn't sure.

"Em's a big girl, I've seen that girl take the really bad news, and become stronger than ever," Keisha said with a lot of hope in her voice.

Wait?

What the heck are they not tell me??

What would the hell crush me?

What won't they tell me?

What he'll do they have to tell me that I would HATE them??

All these questions we're worrying me, so I made my way down the step.

I was the last step but one sentence froze everything.

"Her mother has cancer, how the hell is she gonna be strong for that? Huh??! " Zoey said sounding really sad and mad at the same time.

I froze the only word that could my mouth was

"WHAT?! "
