chapter 1

(a/n well here goes nothing!*sighs*)

i was sitting in my best friend marie's bedroom gettin ready for our awesome house party,that was only two hours from now.we had everything put together,except ourselves of course.sitting in front of the mirror i was putting the final touches on my makeup.which was simple just some eye shadow,eye liner,a tad of mascara and lip gloss.lookin in the mirror i was ready.of course i was a huge mess on the inside.why?you ask,well let me explain.my other best friend was coming tonight.

i shouldn't be nervous right?wrong because my other best friend was brett lee ray,and to me he's absolutely perfect and im in love with him.does he know of course he doesn't i could never begin to explain it to him.not only because he's so hot but also because i don't want to ruin our friendship.let me explain a little better.my bff marie i envy her sometimes.she has the blonde hair, blue eyes not to mention her killer looks.

she always gets her man because she's so confident,and upbeat.me on the the other hand i'm pretty much the dull one.i'm short only 5'3,long dark brown hair thats naturally curly and frizzy.which i tame with my straightener.i'm a little on the chubby side,but just barely.i have natural tan skin and hazel/green eyes. nothing special about me by far.

ok so now your probably dying to know what brett looks like right?well he's 6'2,not short but not long just right light brown almost dirty blonde hair,bright ocean blue eyes that have a twinkle in them every time he smiles.very defined cheekbones and strong chin.his shoulder's and chest are broad and very toned,not to mention his six pack.

anyways so me and marie were heading downstairs now everyone should be arriving soon and i'm a nervous wreck,even though i don't show it ... so i thought.marie looks over at me as we're walking into the living room."lyne,you ok?you look pale." she says "yeah i'm fine." i lie.she looks at me knowingly but let's it go."just enjoy tonight and don't stress chicka."she said i smile at her "don't worry i'm fine" i told her she smiles back and nods.what i didn't know was how that night would change my life forever.
