chapter 5

a week has passed now since that night of the party. me and brett are together now,but josh has called,texted,come by and left voicemails for the whole week.he calls about a hundred times a day.my voicemail is finally full and i avoid home so he can't find me.the texts i don't even open.i don't care what he has to say he shouldn't have attacked brett like he did.

right now me and brett are at his house cuddled up on the couch watching our favorite movie ever,space jam.i giggle as bugs bunny is drooling over lola.brett leans over i can feel his breath on my ear."that's how i felt every time i would see you"he whispers softly,i blush a deep red.he notices and laughs softly and kisses my cheek tenderly.i just cuddle back into his side and right when i get comfortable my phone goes off in the kitchen.

i groan and get up to get it even though i'm pretty sure i know who it is.i reach my phone and look at the caller ID of course it's josh.i sigh and go back to the couch with my phone."who was it baby?"brett asks "josh again" i sigh out my phone goes off again.i don't even have time to look at my phone before brett takes it from me and answers it.

"josh why do you keep calling and shit obviously she doesn't want to talk to you"he tells josh.'put it on speaker' i mouth to him and he does as i hear josh say"because she was mine first and i want to talk to her that's why you prick "brett laughs "dude you're wasting your time because she doesn't want anything to do with you"he tells josh "i don't give a damn what you say she was mine first"josh says angrily.

i can't take anymore of it "I'M NOT YOUR FUCKING POSSESION SOMETHING YOU OWN JOSH JUST LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE" i shout at him and start tearing up.brett ends the call and lifts me off the couch into his lap as he whispers in my ear"everything will be ok" and "don't stress over him,he's not worth it 'lil bit'"when he uses my special nickname i can't help but smile.i love it when he calls me that because he's the only one who does.

we go back to watching space jam and i eventually fall asleep sitting in brett's lap.when i wake up i'm in brett's room but he's no where to be found.i check the whole house but nothing so i text him.

'hey babe where are you at?'

a minute later i get a text back.

'had to run a few errands and didn't wanna wake you i hope you didn't worry'

i texted him back.

'no just wandering where you went is all see you when you get back xxoo'

his reply almost instant

'ok beautiful be back in a hour xxoo'

i smile at my phone and fall back into the couch and watch tv.i doze off again.
