Chapter 24- The Divine Move.

"Scott, look at me. Look at me. Scott, look at me. "Chris said and Scott looked at him. "You have to remember. You called me first, okay? Say it. You called me first."Chris says. "I- I called you."Scott says. "Not you. Say Mr. Argent or her dad."Chris says. "I called her dad first."Scott answers. "What else? What happened?"Chris asked him. "There were two of them."Scott says. "Mhmm."Chris says. Scott pants, "They tried to steal our car."Scott says and then stutters out, "They wore masks. One of them had a knife."He says. "You think."Chris interrupts. "Don't get specific, Scott. You saw something sharp and metallic. You think it was a knife. What do you say next? If you get confused, what do you always repeat?"Chris asks him. "It happened so fast."Scott says. "That's right. Say it again. Scott! Say it again."Chris says. "How are you doing this?"Scott asks looking at him, his daughter just died and he's here coaching Scott on what to say to the police. "It's what we do."Chris replies.

~Sheriff's station.

"Can you remember anything else?"Parrish asks Scott, Lydia, and Isaac. "Anything else?"He questions and then looks at Isaac."Isaac?"He asks. "I'm sorry. It just happened so fast."Isaac whispered.

~Kira's house.

"Here, it'll calm you."Mr. Yukimura says handing a cup of tea to both Stiles and Sadie. "Thank you."Sadie whispers quietly, that being one of the first things she's said since Allison died. "What is it?"Stiles asks as he watches Sadie take a sip from her mug. "Tea."Mr. Yukimura says. "What? Like magic tea?"Stiles asks. "No, chamomile tea."Mr. Yukimura says. Sadie looked at Stiles who was looking at the tea weary. "Drink it, Stiles. It's good."She said and he did.

"He's not safe here."Mrs. Yukimura said. "He's not safe anywhere."Mr. Yukimura replied. "But Allison killed one of them. Doesn't that mean something? She killed an Oni. Is that even possible?"Kira questions. "I'm not sure how."Mrs. Yukimura said. "But she did it. She killed one of them."Kira just replies. "Yeah, and then they killed her."Mrs. Yukimura says.

Stiles watches as Sadie follows Kira to her room to borrow some clothes since her's were dirty and wet. Once Stiles knows Sadie is out of ear shot he turns to Mr. and Mrs. Yukimura. "Allison's dead. Now I guess the only good thing is it looks like I'm dying, too."Stiles says. "He made a powerful move by splitting the two of you."Mrs. Yukimura says. "So what's our move?"Stiles questions. "At this point, you need a divine move."Mr. Yukimura says. "What's that?"Stiles asks. "In the game of Go, it's what we call a truly inspired, or out-of-the-box move. The Nogitsune has had sente, the advantage, until this point. What you need is a divine move in order to turn the game around."Mrs. Yukimura explains as Kira walks back into the room. "Okay, so is anyone feeling divinely inspired?"Stiles asks looking at the Yukimura's. "Mom, you said you trapped it in a glass jar, right?"Kira asks looking at her mom. "It wasn't the jar that trapped it. It was where I buried it. The Nemeton. A place I don't know too much about."Mrs. Yukimura informs. "Who does?"Kira asks as Sadie walks into the room in fresh clean clothes. "Deaton. Deaton does."Sadie says.

~Argent's apartment.

Isaac and Chris Argent walk into the apartment, Chris turns to Isaac, "I appreciate the concern, but you don't have to stay. I'll be all right. I've dealt with this before. I have a capacity and an ability to compartmentalize my emotions."Chris says to Isaac who just simply says, "I don't." and the two embrace each other.

~Sheriff's station.

"Hey. We need to try and keep this quiet for as long as we can. Once the press finds out about this, they're gonna be all over those kids."Mr. Stilinski says to Parrish. "You want a squad car outside your house?"He asks the Sheriff, who sighs and says,"Yeah, might be a good idea tonight." An Oni appears and kills a deputy.
